As Adkins said lot's of twists and turns to come. Great results tonight. All in our hands as it has always been.

Makes me chuckle seeing all the ott reactions on here, worth the fiver.

I didnt bother to follow the games tonight, I wrote them off as an MK win and a Peterborough win.

Great surprise switching on to find out they both dropped points.

I expect Huddersfield to win on Sunday but they would only be 5 points in front having played 3 games more.

Its all looking good.......surely we wont screw this up........will we ?

BMuff, Posh and Huddersfield have seriously lost form compared to a couple of weeks ago. This is surely on a plate for the Saints. Beat MK Donalds then Charlton both at home and we could be 2nd with more than one game in hand.

Check out the Franchise FC penalty. It wasnt a pen, but after Leven had scored with one of those stupid dinks down the middle. The Fat Keeper tried to drop kick the ball at him.

Not even close.

Remember, it's all about 'controlling the controllables', as Adkins would say. If we win our games, we'll be fine, irrespective of what others do.

Having said that, it has been a very good night for us. Wasn't expecting MK Dons or P'boro to drop points, let alone both of them.

Together as one!

Kenny is that fat keeper not Jimmy Walker who was voted man of the match in our Walsall debacle last month, and I believe he is 38 as well

On a positive note Peterboro taking one point out of six this week is a massive bonus for us.

Ditto!!!!!

Great news seeing two draws (the Posh one being more important).

Fingers crossed for a Huddersfield slip up as well on Sunday.

Great results, not half as worried about Huddersfield as I was about Peterborough on that run.

Can't help feeling that suddenly seeing us above them with a game in hand, despite that run they had been on, might have got to them a bit...

Now for a day of sport, with F1 Qualifying being followed by England Cricket being followed by the Wales v England match :D

And the Boat Race! I plan to stay in my armchair all day long!

That result is shame tonight - make it more difficult for us to get a play-off spot rather than going straight up :(:(:(

Are you Alpine in disguise,

We have so many games in April. I am bit worried :/

... I actually think we seem to play better when we have games in quick succession.

26 points is now the max we need from our last ten games to guarantee promotion. That is 8 wins and 2 draws which is the exact form we have had over our past 5 games. And this is assuming that Peterboro or Hudders win all of the rest of their games which in itself is not possible as they play each other. I reckon that 22 points max will definitely do it. We will do this chaps. We're going up.

It must get to Posh and Hudders seeing Saints circling with games in hand ready for the kill.

Control the controllables lads, get on that bus, /stay in the building etc and BELIEVE -

We are going up !

Good news! I thought both Peterborough and MK Dons would win comfortably. The BBC predictor is looking better - all we need now is Brighton to start dropping points big time. Time for the wrist slitters to get a needle and thread for their wounds.

Honestly, not a huge surprise. Not this result specifically, but the fact that we play 'football' in the 'football league', something that seems beyond some people, the reactionary knee jerk Swiss army brigade who forget that teams lose games, teams draw games, good teams find it hard to keep a run going... It's called football... Watch it for a while and you will get the idea. I want us to win every game too, but ask man utd fans how that is working out for them. Be realistic and celebrate a team

4th or 5th in the league on merit with games in hand. You miserable bast@rds.

Crikey, that'll put Brighton on 80pt's already if they hold out. What a great effort, well deserved champions IMO.

But i honestly thought Swindon would scrape clear of relegation....but as it stands they are 7 clear of safety with the teams above them having 2/3 games in hand.

What a bizarre swing. If Austin hadn't have miss-kicked his shot in the play-off final, they could well be sitting in the Championship right now.

Prutton puts Swindon level with Brighton! 1-1. Clutching at straws though, as Brighton will probably score a 97th minute winner anyway! Its just the way their season has gone. They've been phenomenal from the off, fully deserve to go up as champions.

Brighton fully deserve to go up as champions.

Only if they get the most points, which they probably will. But if they don't get the most points, how would they "deserve to go up as Champions"?

Granted, but I think even the most biased Saints fan would agree that they deserve to go up as champions. They've been the most consistent team over the course of the season and show no signs of letting up. I'd be very, very surprised if they didn't win the division comfortably.

But if Saints won the league(which admittedly is very unlikely now) then that would mean that they were more consistent over 46 games than Brighton and would deserve to be Champions as they earnt more points.

Agreed. But I can't see anyone overtaking Brighton and from what we've seen thus far, they fully deserve to be crowned champions IMO.

I didn't say otherwise. But now you mention it, we'd Bevin a worse position if we'd beaten charlton but p'boro had won both their games.
