FA cup a few years back.

Rasiak with that 3 times attempted penalty.

I can see why you forgot that game to be fair.

Ah, didn't get to games much at the timeframe. 3 times attempted? Did he still miss?

No he didn't. :)

The same cup run that led us to Bristol Rovers I take it? My god what a day out that was.

They missed out on a promising Stephens about 10 years ago, Well done for finally righting that wrong!

Rachel?

Shakin' ? Never understood why Lawrie didn't sign him from Harchester with Billy the Fish and the 'Large Breasted Red Indian' lady.

FA Cup under Dudd and Gormless. That was the one where Rasiak scored a penalty on the 46th rebound.

I was there that day, deffo one to tell the grand children about in 50 years time. A true classic. Brings a tear to my eye just thinking about it.

I need to lie down....

Good signing hopefully' date=' promising player scouted by Prem clubs. Isn't there a rule which says loan deals can be made permanent at any time during the course of the loan? Might explain the bit about us "making an offer" to Oldham (although that could just as easily be us agreeing and paying a loan fee)?[/quote']

You can make any deal permanent at any time, but you can only transfer a player's permanent registration during a transfer window.

So we've got him on loan, and if we agree a permanent deal he still won't actually be our player until the end of the season (which I hope is May 7).

Oldham fans seem pleased he's gone! (2 real, one I made up :) )

He's 21 and losing him will be a big blow to us.

Top scorer, takes most of the dead ball situations, and a great engine.

This sucks

Dale is our vice captain and probably our best player. Why has he been allowed to come to you? Simple - we're skint.

Good luck for the rest of the season

He's is awful, glad he's gone!

His goal scoring attributes complement a player who can win the ball and has an eye for a pass, characteristics that have led to him being a long term target of Nigel Adkins, who has tracked his progress over the past months. Stephens has also attracted keen interest from clubs above League One level with Leeds United and a number of Premier League sides reportedly having kept tabs on the player.

The gritty midfielder will add competition for places in the centre of the park,

Why did you not embolden goal scoring? Abject failure to extract ALL relevant and important attributes. Smiley thing.

He's not gritty like your site suggests, he's not much of a tackler, or a runner.

But he's the cloest thing to Steven Gerrard without actually being Steven Gerrard, a very good composed passer for this level and can strike a ball. He was always going to move on from us, he's gota lot of potential to grow into a top player. He might have a few detractors, but until he was injured recently these detractors didn't know what they had 'til it's gone because our midfield went to crap went he was out.

Good luck to Dale and yourselves, you've got yourselves a good player.

Jordan Sibley on Twitter says he is 21. The confusion was over his player profile on a particular website which is wrong.

Oldham's own website player profile has his dob as 12/12/87,so I'm not sure how their press release could get his age wrong, let alone Sibley.

Anyway, never mind his age, what is that tattoo on his arm? It looks suspiciously like he's got a club tattoo. Surely no professional player is that daft?!

He's not tall is he?

Doesn't it say DALE? Perhaps that's to stop fans saying stuff like "that bloke, what's his name, was a bit anonymous this week'
