To reminisce about happier time  14 years ago today it really was Jonno Quicks moment as predicted the CoT

Classic bit of Kelvin Davis goalkeeping for their second goal!

That was a great afternoon- his first attempt at playing the ball was a swing and a total miss to mass groaning in the ground - seconds later the redemption began.

entertaining times

Wasn't he a Barbados international? He was so shit it was funny but he seemed like a decent bloke got his moment of glory.

Great stuff!  In those days the CoT was in it's infancy and well under the radar. Simpler times.

Thanks for a reminder of times when both players and fans would occassionally smile.

It by no means was all wonderful, but looking forward to footy games was actually a thing.

it wasn't in the mainstream yet, we did a lot of our work under the radar. However as our network widened so did the attention from the naysayers. Those were the days when we had to make a really effort to find out information, a few original members drifted away unable to keep up with the standards needed they tried setting up splinter groups which didnt last. We did then what others wouldnt so today we can do what they cant.

I posted a jocular reference in the Palace match thread to the 1976 semi-final at Stamford Bridge. Amazing to think it was 49 years ago this month. Little did the 15 year old me know that some of the younger fans around us, and indeed some that were just babes in arms that day, were already showing an interest in some day joining some sort of secret society that would, almost fifty years later, be able to foretell our every move. My moneys on Malcolm Allison in the hot tub with Mary Millington and the Silicone Piping.
