Err.... They do mate. Every BBC local radio station has commmentary on local games. It's just that you can't pick Radio Solent up out of the area and the BBC does not have a licence to broadcast football on the internet. This is supposedly to protect the copyright for clubs' own "radios" , such as saintsplayer.

Happened to me using various internet radio options for the Dag/Red game.

It's almost certainly internet radio and will therefore just be streaming a recording of the BBC's standard "we're sorry we're unable to bring you the programme as advertised" message. And more annoyingly they leave it right up until kick off to put it on...
