trousers Posted 21 March, 2011 Share Posted 21 March, 2011 (edited) Hi, I'm looking to buy some headphone for my iPod/iPhone that (a) don't fall out of my ears every 5 seconds and (b) produce a decent sound (i.e. more bass, less tin). I'm thinking more along the lines of a slimline 'DJ' style rather than the ear-plug variety. As long as I don't end up look like one of those chaps that guide Boeing 747s into their parking slots at airports.... Any recommendations? Budget is c.£50 cheers Edited 21 March, 2011 by trousers
itchen_dan Posted 21 March, 2011 Share Posted 21 March, 2011 Ive got the Sennheiser CX300ii. They have a superb clear sound and have decent bass when required. They come with 3 different size earbuds and a decent length cable. You can get them for around £25-£30 http://www.sennheiser.co.uk/uk/home_en.nsf/root/private_headphones_classic-line_cxseries_502737 Google Shopping

mdearlove Posted 21 March, 2011 Share Posted 21 March, 2011 The Sennheiser are very good - until they get washed as Baj says! Mine went through the washing machine and I have replaced them with a pair of Goldring GX200. They come with comply tips(and 3 sizes of normal tips) which are like the foam earplugs you get on planes. These are ideal as they expand into your ear canal so get a very snug fit. Do either of you have any suggestions for headphones that do work well after a spell in a washing machine?
Rattlehead Posted 22 March, 2011 Share Posted 22 March, 2011 The standard iPod headphones don't sound any worse after going through a washing machine. Probably.
