I am going is there going to be a good turn out as a lot of people bought tickets for Boxing Day ?

Always enjoy a London away day another massive game and a chance to put pressure on the rest fingers crossed for a MK Dons win or a draw against the Posh tonight.

Any win will do us I dont think it will be easy they have been in freefall and we keep winning ugly long may it continue COYS

They've not been playing well at all lately, but it's going to be a tricky game - They'll be right up for playing us.

....and whilst he never did the business for us, I worry about BWP's pace. CMS caused us all sorts of problems with his direct running at Peterborough.

They have a poll for tomorrow night on a Charlton forum. 52 votes, 75% for a Saints win. They have no confidence whatsoever, let's hope their players are the same!

I’ve been getting two different stories here. Saints say the only way to do it will be to go to the ground early and buy them but that there are only 150 left and may well sell out before tomorrow.

Charlton said that although I can’t but tickets from the saints end from them there should be loads of tickets available and just come down on the night and pay cash.

Then there is the saint official site….

Is it possible that Charlton didn’t give the saints ticket office the full allocation. I know the away end at Charlton is pretty big, maybe they just send through 75% of the tickets of which we have 150 remaining, the other 25% will be on sale on the night.

Or am I just completely grasping at straws and will either spend the night in the Charlton end or listening to Dave Merrington.

I'd say we must have the full allocation of around 3,000 as over 2,500 were already sold by Friday lunchtime. With what must have been sold on Saturday and only 150 left first thing this morning it's looking like a sell-out for Saints.

I reckon the Valley will be a little noisier than usual tomorrow night as their fans are getting fidgety and they're saying they'll turn on the fans quite quickly if it's not going there way. Add 3k visiting voices and it should be lively.

Just go. You will get in the Saints end, but even if if you don't (which is extremely unlikely) you still the watch the game from a Charlton stand.

I'll be cheering on MK Dons tonight almost as loudly as I'll be cheering Saints on tomorrow. While our automatic promotion hopes are still firmly in our own hands, it can only be a good thing to have the rivals for the spot dropping points, it'd be a major confidence boost to our lads.

Tough game tomorrow though, perhaps the toughest of the next three. Win it, and we really should be favourites for promotion. I'll take a draw, which incidentally is what I think will happen. 1-1.

Got my tickets today, can't wait for another away win.

Just hope we create a bit of an atmosphere, we usually take good numbers up there and usually fail to create much of an atmosphere because of the boring home fans.

Does anyone know how many we are taking there and the best route from Waterloo?

I'm sure that someone has now already said about this but someone said that as of 9AM there were 150 tickets left so it looks like there'l be alot of us fans there Roger Mate which should be Good!

Also the best bet to Charlton from Waterloo is to walk over to Waterloo East Station and get a train to Charlton from there (I think the train goes towards Dartford/Woolwich!) and get off at Charlton as I hope this helps for you!

Hopefully everyone stands and makes noise for this one. OWTS twice slowly under the floodlights would sound bloody impressive. A few new songs would be good too, but I guess that's too much to ask.

Yeh that would be Good Griffo Mate as I also like the Viva Lalanna song now and the Radhi Jaidi one too but I don't know how that one goes though Tbh :(!

Any songs for d'Urso?

He cost our travelling fans about £9,000 on Boxing Day - and that's just the official coaches.

Spoilt my Christmas - no food or drink for the nine hours sat on a boring coach.

Methinks dannysfc talk is infectious ;) or you could just be takin the p!ss

I just love danny's posts ... but I wish I hadn't gone on about how long his sentences were or the lack of punctuation .... bring back the old danny please ;)

It should be a crackin atmosphere tomorrow and we may sing some new songs or even a couple of verses of OWTSGMI nice and slowly without the monkeys from The Northam banging the boards trying to speed things up just to show those cockney boys up at The Lane just how it should be done ... but we shall see

This is one of those occasions where we can really make a great chance to get away count. Get on top early, their lame fans will get on their backs and its ours for the taking. Huge. Please win

Jackson, Youga and Elliot all out it seems - http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_2/9429089.stm

Good for us I guess, dunno how much they've been playing recently though.

Very good news, Jackson has been a massive player for them this season and Elliot is their first choice and best GK - I think they've only got a kid as backup.

If they've been out for while it kind of makes sense why they've struggled massively.

Wide pitch so Lallana and Chamberlain are vitally important - get them on the ball!

May as well go for it seeing as we don't have a game after this for 11 days , attack them from the off and get a goal and the lead going into half-time.

Forgot about the 11 days off, we will desperately need that as it is going to be a really really tough run in. I imagine that we have the squad to cope, our squad is IMO much stronger than the majority of the rest of league 1.

Shame we havn't got Morgan tommorow as i feel his passing range would have really torn apart the charlton side, especially if as Lambden has said it is a wide and footballing pitch.

COYR's

We could be well in the driving seat after tommorow night.

Although I hope we win tomorrow a draw would be a good result like Peterborough we will not win all our remaining games

Disagree. We need to win and get to second as soon as possible (i.e. tomorrow), get points in the bag to build up a gap on 3rd.

Not enough margin for error at the moment to accept a point draw tomorrow.

Lets face it you dont seem to have any idea of what happens in a Promotion run in

almost the best -(try the Bree Louise nr Euston - outstanding plus 50p discount for Camra members !)

Market Porter is outstanding (see my note above somewhere) and so easy to get to in London (5 mins from my office - so I'll be there about 5pm)

Working until 4 so won't be getting the train until 5, meaning no time for a drink which is depressing for a london away day, at least we have Orient in a few weeks. Can't wait for this one tonight, always like a trip to the Valley.

Won there 3-1 on Boxing Day 1977/78 the year we last got promoted

In Front of 10,000 travelling fans,It is still one of my best memories of watching Saints away.

I feel a "Saints fans who work in London" pub crawl in my waters one evening in the summer.... :-)

I notice a pattern developing with you. Anyone disagrees with your vision of how things should proceed, they apparently dont have a clue about "how football works".

Why dont you put a sock in it ?
