Based on our recent performances, which I think have been average/poor, but appreciate we have grinded out the results. I personally feel it will be: -

Charlton away - Loss

MK Dons home - Loss

Charlton home - Draw

1 point

2 points at best with maybe draw with MK Dons

:(

Charlton (A) - Draw

MK Dons (H) - Win

Charlton (H) - Win

7 points out of 9.

My Prediction should be good enough if taken with our current form, as that would be 6 wins and 1 draw from 7 games (after the Charlton home game).

Admittedly Charlton away is the only one I'm worried about. They have to end this terrible run at some point (right...?), but I can't see us leaving with less than a point.

Really hope that I'm wrong on this, certainly being a bit pessimistic!

I just think that our run of not great performances and grinding out the result - has got to end - although I'm happy for it to continue.

But we do seem pretty unpredicatable - just wish we were as convincing as Peterborough at the moment, I feel we've got the squad to do it, maybe not the manager

are you slightly mad..?

we have won 8 out of the last 10.....we dont let in many at all....I would say we are pretty predictable....

Cmon.. 2 home games. We have the best defence in the league at home, have won our last 4 and were expecting to lose 2 on the bounce? I reckon 7 points in no particular order.

Yeah Charlton do have quality, but their almost in the same boat as Wednesday, if they start badly the crowd are gunna get right on their backs. Beat them away we surely will beat them at home.

AMazing how Charltons form went from brilliant to dire.

I think we will get 7 points from 9.

We could benefit massively from the postponement of the Charlton away match looking at their current form!

without wanting to sensationalize this and even with Orient losing yesterday anything less that 3 wins before the away trips to orient and rochdale could prove to be the final nail in the automatic promotion coffin. Peterborough are a serious threat and if they win on monday then the above mentioned 3 wins is not really optional in my opinion as the two away trips are going to be very tricky!

Unpredictable more in terms of goals I suppose.

This is just my opinion and I really truly hope that I am wrong

You're right. We've won 7, drawn 2 and lost 1. Shocking. Adkins out.

Do bare in mind that P'boro dont have it easy either. They also have Rochdale away, Orient and Huddersfield away, and Bournemouth at home.

This is about as likely as picking up 8 points.

Draw

Win

Win

Will be happy with 7 from those three games, 9 would be brilliant.

6 might be OK if Posh slip up along the road.

5 would be worrying.

4 or less catastrophe!!!!

I don't know what people are basing their predictions of Charlton away on. They are 2nd to bottom of the form tables for the last 8 games, and 5th from bottom of the "last 5 at home" table. I think MK Dons at home is far harder (they are top of the "last 5 away" chart - http://stats.football365.com/dom/ENG/D2/aform.html). I'd be delighted with 9 points, happy with 7, and disappointed with 6 or less, given current form and the feeling that to go up automatically, we probably can't afford to lose 2 games from here on in, as we will draw a game or two we should win.

I'd love to predict 9 points but since I've never seen Saints win 7 games in a row before' date=' I just can't bring myself to see it happening. I think 7 points would be a very good return.[/quote']

I dont think anyone has ever seen Saints win 7 league games in a row but as far as I am aware the best in the history of the club is only 6 league wins on the trot. May be more if cup games are included.

As for the original post I to think we will draw at Charlton and win the other two,but would love to see us win all three and see the above(rather poor)record broken.

I can see the MK Dons being the tricky game. I'm hoping for a new record of league wins in a row as it would mean the bus is rocketing to second place and primed for top if Brighton slip up. This is the time to show Saints being worth of an automatic promotion spot.

The way I see it, it's just games of foootball, and we take them one at a time and draw a blue line. We're all in the building and everyone's on the bus and we've got an honest hard-working bunch and we know that effort beats quality if quality doesn't make the effort. So anything can happen. Remember, this is Saints.

We haven't even hit form yet. We're bound to sooner or later. Winning breeds confidence.

We'll win the next three because we prepare for one game at a time and we're all on the bus.

Lots of people don't fancy us tomorrow. Looking at recent form I think we should have no problem. They've got 1 point out of the last 6 games, and their last 4 home games:

Charlton 0-1 Brentford

Charlton 1-1 Tranmere

Charlton 1-3 Carlisle

Charlton 1-3 Exeter

Based on that, anything but a win would be a very poor result
