fanimal Posted 20 March, 2011 Posted 20 March, 2011 Calling all Saints fans - we have just 5 home games left and we need to fill the stadium with suppport! OK, not many glamourous visiting teams, but come to get behind your team, so important in the final run in! No excuses of Barca v Arsenal or Sky as distractions. Would be good to see the Club do a package deal as well, say buy 3 or 4 get one free. No doubt the last home game will be nearly full up regardless. And how about selling the Northam block behind the goal now, cant see many away fans turning up to take additional blocks. keep the faith, Come On You Reds!!!
The9 Posted 20 March, 2011 Posted 20 March, 2011 I've bought 20,000 tickets, will that help ? By the way, we don't play in red this season.
Ewell Posted 20 March, 2011 Posted 20 March, 2011 Whenever we tend to get big gates the players don't seem to cope well with the pressure and we tend to drop points. The fans also seem to jump on the players backs pretty quickly.
paulwantsapint Posted 20 March, 2011 Posted 20 March, 2011 totally agree with the bulk purchase idea & getting the northam fully open & rocking
B Rabbit Posted 20 March, 2011 Posted 20 March, 2011 Why do people start threads like this....chances are the 'majority' of people who come on here go to games anyway and those that don't probably have good reasons not to....it will make next to bugger all difference doing a ''rallying the troops'' internet message board call. What actually do you expect a half arsed fan to do...... 'oh, now that i've read that, I better go to the game....'

B Rabbit Posted 20 March, 2011 Posted 20 March, 2011 Its made me decided to go to MK Dons and Charlton games. FACT. You are my favourite fan. Hope you win the fan's fan of the year award.
Turkish Posted 20 March, 2011 Posted 20 March, 2011 You are my favourite fan. Hope you win the fan's fan of the year award. Fanimal is the fans fan of the year. For his rallying call and inspiring part time fans to attend games they weren't going to attend.
Appy Posted 20 March, 2011 Posted 20 March, 2011 Would be nice but won't happen. Walsall game should be full if it is pivotal.
suewhistle Posted 20 March, 2011 Posted 20 March, 2011 Would be nice but won't happen. Walsall game should be full if it is pivotal. Hmmm, wonder how much flights from Geneva to Southampton will be....
NickG Posted 20 March, 2011 Posted 20 March, 2011 hopefully go into Hartlepool games knowing win gets us promoted!
Appy Posted 20 March, 2011 Posted 20 March, 2011 hopefully go into Hartlepool games knowing win gets us promoted! Hartlepool?
um pahars Posted 20 March, 2011 Posted 20 March, 2011 Would be nice but won't happen. Walsall game should be full if it is pivotal. Saturday Cricket has started by then, so I want it wrapped up well before then!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yorkie Posted 20 March, 2011 Posted 20 March, 2011 Coming down for MK Dons and Walsall - Rochdale away is on too! So not A SUPER FAN but every little helps!
fanimal Posted 20 March, 2011 Author Posted 20 March, 2011 My point really was that we got 18K for Yeovil, 20k+ yesterday, we should now be getting 25K+ for MKD and Charlton. I know most posters on here already go to most home games, but we all know several irregulars we can try and enthuse to attend especially the two evening and Bank Holiday games, like the guys who play football saturdays or have to work. As a S/T holder, it wouldnt bother me if the Club did a money saving ticket package deal to boost the crowd.
NY Saint Posted 20 March, 2011 Posted 20 March, 2011 Visiting the UK and will be attending Walsall home game.
svetigpung Posted 20 March, 2011 Posted 20 March, 2011 were 4 swedish saints travelling over for the MK Dons match. every little bit...
sammysaint Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 I been to the last two home games and it showed how different we can be, yevoil poor atsmophere to Sheffield where the noise level and buzz was much better.

I play football on Saturdays, as a result have only been to about 7 or 8 games this season, but I do try to get to as many evening games as possible. With the Bank holiday game, Charlton on a Tuesday and my team having no game on 16th when we play Bristol Rovers or 7th May for the Walsall game I am hoping to get to at least 4/5 games. Nothing wrong with a ralying call, good on you Fanimal, hopefully will convert a few more to attend.
