SuperMikey Posted 19 March, 2011 Posted 19 March, 2011 Big points at stake here for both teams, not a clue how Spurs aren't a few goals up by now, they've been all over West Ham at the back! Refereeing controversy earlier on in the match when Gareth Bale was sent off the pitch to change his undershorts (which weren't the same colour as the overshorts) and wasn't allowed back on for a few minutes after he had changed. 0-0 HT

I thought they made him change them before kick off ?
SuperMikey Posted 19 March, 2011 Author Posted 19 March, 2011 Yeah, the referee told him to go and change on around 10 minutes, he was off the pitch for a minute changing and then the ref didn't let him back on the pitch for a good few minutes after.
Um Bongo Posted 19 March, 2011 Posted 19 March, 2011 Bridge V Bale Bridge is winning. Been awesome today.
SuperMikey Posted 19 March, 2011 Author Posted 19 March, 2011 Bridge has had Lennon in his pocket all day, not a peep on the right from Spurs.
bridge too far Posted 19 March, 2011 Posted 19 March, 2011 Tater VERY complimentary about our Wayne. Best LB in the country apart from Cole he reckons.
Window Cleaner Posted 19 March, 2011 Posted 19 March, 2011 Tater VERY complimentary about our Wayne. Best LB in the country apart from Cole he reckons. Obviously missed his West Ham debut then. Players have good days and bad days, good players have more of the former and less of the latter.
Griffo Posted 19 March, 2011 Posted 19 March, 2011 Lost a fair bit of money on that. **** sake Spurs.
Window Cleaner Posted 19 March, 2011 Posted 19 March, 2011 Lost a fair bit of money on that. **** sake Spurs. West Ham avoiding relegation would be a good thing to bet on, as would Spurs not making the Champions League next season (by way of their league position that is)
Gorgiesaint Posted 20 March, 2011 Posted 20 March, 2011 Obviously missed his West Ham debut then. Players have good days and bad days, good players have more of the former and less of the latter. tbf he hadn't played for a while when he joined West Ham, think he was injured at City, he's now showing what he can really do now he's getting regular games. (edit: but yes he was bloody awful in that game!)
