Saint-scooby Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 Whistle blowing time, not bad for a Monday hahahahahaha now for some class A's xx
Cascadia Saint Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 Cracking game, and a cracking result for us. Who's excited for tomorrow night?
Saints foreva Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 It means nothing if we don't beat Charlton tomorrow. We could be 5th on Friday if Dons win again on Friday.
Kingsland Red Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 Good, no last minute goals this time around. Now lets win at Charlton, go second and stay there. OK , I know, we're the Saints.
DrZuess1979 the 2nd Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 Would you adam and eve it Thank you MK dons !!!!!!!!!! Now lets do our bit 2moro night
bjk Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 Saints can go second tomorrow which means...........we wont.
saintscottofthenortham Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 We will lose @ Charlton. Your not on the bus. Your going in the wrong direction. In fact, your wheels are not even in motion. There's smiles on our faces, but not yours. Talk to Frank.
oldsarum Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 After that result although hoping for win, i'd be happy with a point tomorrow to put us third, with 2 games in hand over Hudddersfield and one in hand over Perterbro
ericb Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 It's going to be squeaky bum time tomorrow night isn't it?
Wildgoose Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 It means nothing if we don't beat Charlton tomorrow. We could be 5th on Friday if Dons win again on Friday. Actually, it now means we only need to win one of our two games in hand to go above Peterborough and we have three games in hand over MK Dons and Huddersfield! But hey, let's win 'em both!
SOTONS EAST SIDE Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 They've done us a great favour. Now we must step up to mark, and take advantage of this result!
View From The Top Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 Lots more twists and turns to come yet.
Smirking_Saint Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 What a f*cking great result !!! Although it means the next 3 matches are now absolutely massive for us in respect to the fact that we could create some ground between us now it is also worth noting that it also takes a little bit of pressure off. COYR its all starting to fall into place. Although the Posh once again showed a real commited forward play today.
Whitey Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 The chance to go second should be all the incentive the team need tomorrow.... now lets do it.
paulwantsapint Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 Now let's hope notts county win their next 2 games Brighton & Huddersfield
Colinjb Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 These two days could be the defining point in our season. Step one complete, step two, as before is entirely up to us.
suewhistle Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 This must be the only team forum that crashes when the team aren't even playing. Mind you, probably more people viewing than a Pompey home game...
tedmaul Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 The mighty Posh clearly ran out of steam in the last 20 mins. In the first half they were closing and chasing everything. Getting all the players back in defence and throwing players forward, it was mighty impressive. But I did wonder if they could sustain it over 90 mins. Thankfully not.
S-Clarke Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 Wow, what a great weekend of results. Hudders drawing, Posh loosing, Bompey loosing and we win....!! Tomorrow is massive, I'm sure the players will be buzzing after this result knowing they can get into 2nd on the back of this. I'd honestly say it's ours to lose now.
corsacar saint Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 Means nothing unless we win tomorrow night. Apart from Baldock and the young sub who came on,the franchise look well beatable saturday week, from the twenty or so minutes I watched.
RedWillie Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 come on you red and white.......................... machines !
mcjwills Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 Back in our own hands Get the win tomorrow and get 2nd place
benjii Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 Means nothing unless we win tomorrow night. Apart from Baldock and the young sub who came on,the franchise look well beatable saturday week, from the twenty or so minutes I watched. Yeah, they looked pretty ****e TBF.
acersaint Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 Fantastic result. How can anyone say it means nothing. Pressure eased a bit. A win tomorrow night would be fantastic. Even better if Brighton lose!!!! We are hitting top form at the right time come on Saints make an old man happy.
trousers Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 jordansibley: Not sure which was more disturbing, supporting MK Dons for the evening or being forced to watch the last 20 mins of one born every minute!
um pahars Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 Thank you very much indeed MK Dons. How sooper dooper of you. Now feck off back in to the world of insignificance you franchise team stealing shysters!!!!! Just got in and tentatively tapped away at the buttons to get the result. Looked with one eye and gave out a rather excited YES when I saw the score. A couple of scores have gone for us, now we need to capitalise on others mistakes. Could be a big week!!!!!
scotty Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 More ups and downs than a prossies cacks the voice of experience;) Great result tho
benjii Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 Back in our own hands Get the win tomorrow and get 2nd place It was anyway.
Toomer Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 I bet young Fergie has got a face like a smacked arse tonight, part one done but lets not get carried away we need to keep a level head win tomorrow.
Toomer Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 Thank you very much indeed MK Dons. How sooper dooper of you. Now feck off back in to the world of insignificance you franchise team stealing shysters!!!!! Nothing like speaking your mind Steve.
S-Clarke Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 A quick browse on the posh forums and they've given up on automatic already...
Ivan Katalinic's 'tache Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 The Dons have given us the result we wanted; now it's up to NA and the boys to ensure we take this gilt-edged opportunity. COYR!!
kpturner Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 Awesome. Better now **** up at charlton.I hope we don't !
Dark Munster Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 I bet young Fergie has got a face like a smacked arse tonight, part one done but lets not get carried away we need to keep a level head win tomorrow. That's true every night.
Lallana's Left Peg Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 Well that couldn't go much better. Peterborough by far the better team for the 60mins of the match I saw, yet they have somehow lost this game (a bit like us against Walsall a few weeks back...). So Posh drop 3pts, and MK Dons look very beatable. Perfect!
kpturner Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 Posh loosing, Bompey loosing and we win....!! Please please please - for the millionth time, it is losing, not loosing (something that you do to tight things! ) Carry on....
um pahars Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 Nothing like speaking your mind Steve. LOL. I just have a real problem with the way MK Dons came about and how they shafted a very good number of Wimbledon fans (that said the real Wimbledon are doing a grand job of bouncing back). Having lived in Merton for a bit and having a few good fans as mates meant it was always going to be difficult to be supporting them tonight. Managed it, but now I need a shower!!!!!!!!
beatlesaint Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 A quick browse on the posh forums and they've given up on automatic already... Not just us full of wrist slashers and doom merchants when the team lose a game then :-)
Liquidshokk Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 Please please please - for the millionth time, it is losing, not loosing (something that you do to tight things! ) Carry on.... Loosen or loosening maybe, loosing doesn't even work there
Liquidshokk Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 I bet young Fergie has got a face like a smacked arse tonight, part one done but lets not get carried away we need to keep a level head win tomorrow. His face is always like an arse. Hate that man
shurlock Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 I bet young Fergie has got a face like a smacked arse tonight, part one done but lets not get carried away we need to keep a level head win tomorrow. If not, he'll just go and smash up his mrs. no doubt the miserable c**t will be moaning about missed penalties and the ref bottling things.
kpturner Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 Loosen or loosening maybe, loosing doesn't even work there I beg to differ my kindred pedant http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/loosing
Liquidshokk Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 I beg to differ my kindred pedant http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/loosing Ooooooh, I tip my hat to you, good sir. My dunce hat that is. One would not get losing and loosing mixed up though, oh no.
trousers Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 300 posts for a non-Saints game...is that some kinda record?! :-)
NickG Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 Can you imagine this forum if... our forwards missed chances like Peterborough's KD gifted a goal like tonight's Akins showed the lack of plan B that Fergie did tonight? We were as scrappy and hoofed as much But this was the almighty Peterborough with CMS and Lewis! They are certainly not out of it yet and there will be twists and turns - just pointing out that there is some "grass is always greener" on here and we should enjoy our team, wins like Saturday and appreciate our forwards!
kpturner Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 300 posts for a non-Saints game...is that some kinda record?! :-) Some of them about the game too!!
SFC Forever Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 Great result for us and a win tomorrow leaves us firmly in the driving seat. Been a good week so far now let's make it a great one.
