LGTL Posted 30 March, 2011 Posted 30 March, 2011 They are still showing as available on the online system.
Dan Posted 30 March, 2011 Posted 30 March, 2011 are these still available? Why dont you just check the online sales or maybe even phone up.
LGTL Posted 30 March, 2011 Posted 30 March, 2011 Second batch now sold out. Great support once again, we'll have well over 3000 there. Can't wait for this one.
rick1976.4.38 Posted 30 March, 2011 Posted 30 March, 2011 Wish I could make this. we will drink plenty and stand for you.coys, wifm
JRM Posted 30 March, 2011 Author Posted 30 March, 2011 it does make you wonder how many we could have taken if it was completely open sale with a huge away end, i reckon 7-8000 potentially http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2326945,00.html i'm still not sure about the plan of having a family area (which still ISN'T SOLD OUT) they should just sell those tickets to away fans who want to go.
stevegrant Posted 30 March, 2011 Posted 30 March, 2011 Just a pointer for those travelling via Waterloo next week... if you're planning on going direct from there to Leytonstone, the Northern Line section of Tottenham Court Road station is closed, so there's no interchange to the Central Line. Instead, the quickest route will be the Jubilee Line from Waterloo to Stratford, changing to the Central Line there.

Another good alternative (especially those wanting to drink around Liverpool st) is to jump on the Waterloo & City line to Bank which is one stop from Waterloo, then join the central line there to Liverpool st (one stop) or stay on it to Leyton
dellboypete Posted 30 March, 2011 Posted 30 March, 2011 re my post somewhere above - they have pay on the gate on the day - obviously not for away fans, but you've only got to put on your east lahndon accent and there shoudn't be any problems
Um Bongo Posted 30 March, 2011 Posted 30 March, 2011 Well up for this one, was decent last year, the stand seemed to be split.....singing in the left and right meant the timing was never quite right.... Tube was fun as well.
Um Bongo Posted 30 March, 2011 Posted 30 March, 2011 Just seen Millwall are at home to Leeds at the same time - Could be tasty.
JRM Posted 30 March, 2011 Author Posted 30 March, 2011 Just seen Millwall are at home to Leeds at the same time - Could be tasty. yes i saw that surprised they are playing it saturday 3pm, and there will be plenty of spurs around Liverpool st home to Stoke
onthemarch Posted 31 March, 2011 Posted 31 March, 2011 unlikely but if anyone has a spare ticket please email me on payneontour@hotmail.com really wanna go to this one
Barry the Badger Posted 31 March, 2011 Posted 31 March, 2011 First time to Orient, would like to drink within 15 mins walking distance of the ground. Suggestions?
onthemarch Posted 31 March, 2011 Posted 31 March, 2011 very few pubs in the area and all full early last year evryone was just drinking in the streets
dellish Posted 31 March, 2011 Posted 31 March, 2011 First time to Orient, would like to drink within 15 mins walking distance of the ground. Suggestions? went to the birbeck behind tube station ,got there at 12 left at 130 very quite ,then on to pub by ground ,was heaving but got served .
Hemel Saint Posted 31 March, 2011 Posted 31 March, 2011 very few pubs in the area and all full early last year evryone was just drinking in the streets Not everyone. Loads of Saints drink in London Bridge before London games. Just 30mins on the tube to Leyton.
stkev7 Posted 31 March, 2011 Posted 31 March, 2011 London Bridge is a superb place for a beer but we drank around Liverpool Street last year. Have to say London Bridge did get the call up after the game though.
Sour Mash Posted 1 April, 2011 Posted 1 April, 2011 London Bridge is a superb place for a beer but we drank around Liverpool Street last year. Have to say London Bridge did get the call up after the game though. London bridge is probably the top spot for a beer in London, bit too much of a trek over to Leyton for my liking for it to work for a pre-match drink for this one. Liverpool Street, Bethnal Green and even Stratford have a fair few options dotted around.

Coca Cola Saint Posted 1 April, 2011 Posted 1 April, 2011 I have two tickets for sale if anyone is interested (or knows someone that is interested), face value. Please email me on christopher_roy_king@hotmail.co.uk cheers
stkev7 Posted 1 April, 2011 Posted 1 April, 2011 Not that they'll take many but Notts County are at Dagenham on the same day too.
oldsarum Posted 1 April, 2011 Posted 1 April, 2011 Palace at Ipswich too so yet more in and around Liverpool St Station area
100%Red&White Posted 1 April, 2011 Posted 1 April, 2011 TBF it's usually like this with plenty of fans travelling to or through London. It's just that there's more of us so we need to get in the boozers earlier and make them Saints fans only
Sour Mash Posted 1 April, 2011 Posted 1 April, 2011 Palace at Ipswich too so yet more in and around Liverpool St Station area And Stoke at Spurs I think, just in case no-one else has mentioned it.
alehouseboys Posted 3 April, 2011 Posted 3 April, 2011 Their fans are predicting less than 4k for their home match with Plymouth midweek. If they lose it may mean a similar 'home' turnout Saturday which would leave a couple of thousand empty seats...roll up, roll up...
ladysaint Posted 3 April, 2011 Posted 3 April, 2011 I may have a spare ticket or two if anyone interested if not will return them to the TO.
Sour Mash Posted 4 April, 2011 Posted 4 April, 2011 Can anyone remember how busy the Birbeck Tavern got close to kick off, 2pm-ish last season?
Hatch Posted 4 April, 2011 Posted 4 April, 2011 I am making a rare appearance for this one. Need a good pre-match and a good after-match boozer. I used to live in Leytonstone in 1990, not been back there since.
dellish Posted 4 April, 2011 Posted 4 April, 2011 Can anyone remember how busy the Birbeck Tavern got close to kick off, 2pm-ish last season? i left at 130 very quite thats why we left. this year going to the king william the fourth mile from ground, and says on website at least 16 real ales plus taffy cider
Graffito Posted 4 April, 2011 Posted 4 April, 2011 Can anyone remember how busy the Birbeck Tavern got close to kick off, 2pm-ish last season? It wasn't especially busy nor especially quiet, about right. The weather was fine so it was possible to spill out into the garden. It's a good option and it's where we're going once we get to Leyton.
Sour Mash Posted 4 April, 2011 Posted 4 April, 2011 Cheers chaps, might give a go for the last pre-match/first post-match pint, probably going to be packed now its been mentioned on here.
100%Red&White Posted 4 April, 2011 Posted 4 April, 2011 http://www.leytonorient2.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=12406&sid=837705c671e51bac41215494e09aa8c5 Prem ref for Saturday's match?
dune Posted 4 April, 2011 Posted 4 April, 2011 Can anyone remember how busy the Birbeck Tavern got close to kick off, 2pm-ish last season? It was fine. Had no trouble getting served.
dune Posted 4 April, 2011 Posted 4 April, 2011 (edited) Apologies, it wasn't the birbeck we drank in. It was: http://www.fancyapint.com/pubs/pub2333.php Litterally a couple of hundred yards from the ground. Edited 4 April, 2011 by dune
matthewb Posted 4 April, 2011 Posted 4 April, 2011 http://www.leytonorient2.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=12406&sid=837705c671e51bac41215494e09aa8c5 Prem ref for Saturday's match? According to the football league website, we do have Mark Clattenburg as ref.
Tractor_Saint Posted 4 April, 2011 Posted 4 April, 2011 Apologies, it wasn't the birbeck we drank in. It was: http://www.fancyapint.com/pubs/pub2333.php Litterally a couple of hundred yards from the ground. Had that confirmed last night on twitter from an Orient fan that Coach and Horses is a good pub for away supporters. See you there if you're lucky! Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
SaintMilesie Posted 5 April, 2011 Posted 5 April, 2011 Where is the Birbeck Tavern? Come out of Leyton tube station turn left and sharp left again keep walking and you will come to the pub

Looks like there could still be a good chance of getting in if you turn up Saturday.
JRM Posted 6 April, 2011 Author Posted 6 April, 2011 http://www.leytonorient2.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=12474&sid=9e7095b55dbcbf18f34c477c28847591 Just over 3k at Orient last night...2806 home fans...although they did win. Looks like there could still be a good chance of getting in if you turn up Saturday. So if the same number of home fans turn up on Saturday then we really will have more fans than them
Coca Cola Saint Posted 6 April, 2011 Posted 6 April, 2011 I have two tickets for sale, face value if anyone wants to be in the saints end, contact me on christopher_roy_king@hotmail.co.uk cheers
Chorlton Posted 6 April, 2011 Posted 6 April, 2011 I have a ticket for sale at face value. if anyone wants it, pop your email address up & I will send you a note. And I don't think they were selling beer in the ground last season
dune Posted 7 April, 2011 Posted 7 April, 2011 Do they sell beer in the ground anyone? And I don't think they were selling beer in the ground last season Definitely no beer sold in the ground last season.
Dan Posted 7 April, 2011 Posted 7 April, 2011 If anyone has any spares I will take them for face value, I need quite a few more tickets. Contact 07557365336 or dan_Armstrong@hotmail.co.uk can meet in Southampton this week or in London Saturday.
Joe Kirkup Posted 7 April, 2011 Posted 7 April, 2011 Despite being sold out the on line booking is still showing as available - got as far as the "buy" button with no problem but didn't buy as I've already got mine. Might be worth a go?
The Godfather Posted 7 April, 2011 Posted 7 April, 2011 Plenty of availability in home areas of the ground.
