JRM Posted 18 March, 2011 Posted 18 March, 2011 2775 allocation 2 per season ticket holder http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2318938,00.html tickets on sale on Monday
Griffo Posted 18 March, 2011 Posted 18 March, 2011 If any of you kind season ticket holders would be able to get me a ticket it'd be much appreciated.
Um Bongo Posted 18 March, 2011 Posted 18 March, 2011 I'm guessing that's the same as last season? I thought we took over 3000 but might be wrong....
Sour Mash Posted 18 March, 2011 Posted 18 March, 2011 If any of you kind season ticket holders would be able to get me a ticket it'd be much appreciated. We'll be able to sort you one mate. You able to do this one? Drop me a text to confirm as we'll probably sort out ours at the start of next week.

Cheers mate, as you know I still need a way of getting myself out of the situation! I'll let you know either over the weekend or early on Monday morning.
Sour Mash Posted 18 March, 2011 Posted 18 March, 2011 Why two per season ticket holder? Bit of a strange one. Also, annoying that they've cut our allocation for what should be another popular away day. And another thing, why the 525 "family tickets". And releasing them on the Monday after a home game, so everyone has to pay the £3!
Turkish Posted 18 March, 2011 Posted 18 March, 2011 F*cking stupid 2 per season ticket holder. Someone who hasn't been to a game all season could get a ticket over a non season ticket holder who has been to loads. Stupid decision.
onthemarch Posted 18 March, 2011 Posted 18 March, 2011 chill - there will be loads of spare seats in the home end like last year
Jonnyboy Posted 18 March, 2011 Posted 18 March, 2011 chill - there will be loads of spare seats in the home end like last year Can you just turn up for these?
Berkshire Saint Posted 19 March, 2011 Posted 19 March, 2011 I just turned up on the day last year and got in the home end. Might be a bit different this year though with them pushing for the play-offs so they may be less keen to have away fans in the home end and only open it up to people on their database or something. There were plenty of Saints in with the home fans last year, including the bloke sat next to me! The two tickets per ST holder is pretty annoying. I've been to a reasonable number of aways this season (Sheffield Wednesday, Huddersfield, Notts County, Dagenham, Peterborough, Walsall and going to Charlton and Rochdale) but don't live locally so don't know any ST holders. So as Turkish says above, could have fans at Orient who haven't been to a game all season ahead of those who go quite regularly to aways.
Neil Posted 20 March, 2011 Posted 20 March, 2011 Should be good, but 2 per ST is completely unnecessary and daft given the popularity of this one.
niceandfriendly Posted 20 March, 2011 Posted 20 March, 2011 Yeah, don't understand the 2 per season ticket idea but don't worry guys not every season ticket holder will want to buy extras. I for example will only buy 3 tickets on our three season tickets, so hopefully there'll be some left over for those who regularly travel away but don't have a ST.
Bourno Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 As I regulalry travel with my 8 yr old, I was looking forward to paying £5 for his ticket in the family section and him actually being able to see the game, but no, as there are 2 adults we can't sit there. How ridiculous, do they only have one parent families in London?
fanimal Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 Got my 5 at 9.15 am surprised not more people in the Q. More Plymouth tickets arriving in the next few days as well.
scott_saints Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 6 tickets done for us lot. Should be a cracking day!

How ridiculous, do they only have one parent families in London? What a joke, absolutely bizarre idea. Prob worth buying two adults and two kids tickets, still work out cheap and worthwhile for you?

LGTL Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 A mate just got back from the Ticket Office with our 6 tickets, apparantly 700 have been sold already! No chance this will make general sale.
iansouthstander Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 A mate just got back from the Ticket Office with our 6 tickets, apparantly 700 have been sold already! No chance this will make general sale. I got my ticket at 12:45 and was told over a 1000 had already been sold this morning .
dellboypete Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 Not being a ST holder and working on the assumption that I won't get a ticket even though I go to most away games, I went to Orient at lunchtime as I work in London. Bought a ticket in the south stand nextish to the saints fans (in the east stand). £20 no problems. I asked how tickets were going - trying not to sound like a saints fan. The answer was very slowly and they always have pay on the day. Even though they have had a good run recently they are still getting less than 5000 for home games so it shouldn't be a problem for those wanting to pay on the day (but don't quote me on that)
dickyhale Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 Just brought 2 (two season ticket holder) today about 3.45 no other people at St Marys with me............
Paul Chuckle Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 Just been down to pick up tickets. No queues. Two lads infront of me getting Leyton Orient tickets as well.
dune Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 And releasing them on the Monday after a home game, so everyone has to pay the £3! That's cortese for you, and to think some weirdos sing a song in his honour.
Sour Mash Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 That's cortese for you, and to think some weirdos sing a song in his honour. Probably me being even more cynical than normal, but I noticed the initial Plymouth allocation sold out just before a home game and we've received a new allocation just after a home game, all coincidence I'm sure.
shirleysfc Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 That's cortese for you, and to think some weirdos sing a song in his honour. Do you actually think NC makes every decsion at St Marys or do you only blame him when it's something you don't agree with?
red and white saint Posted 21 March, 2011 Posted 21 March, 2011 Apparantly it's a free for all on the online sales. Yeah that is correct but wont be happy till i have the tickets in my hand
ladysaint Posted 23 March, 2011 Posted 23 March, 2011 (edited) Sorry thought you meant Plymouth not Orient. Edited 23 March, 2011 by ladysaint
Appy Posted 23 March, 2011 Posted 23 March, 2011 What the second allocation as well now. We only had one.
JRM Posted 23 March, 2011 Author Posted 23 March, 2011 http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2322873,00.html anyone savvy enough will just get family tickets pay the extra £5 for the kids ticket then either try and get a mate in on a kids ticket or just go in alone and write off the fiver extra paid
Sour Mash Posted 23 March, 2011 Posted 23 March, 2011 Sold out, apparently! Along with last night's support, shows what a MASSIVE club we are. Makes youwonder how many tickets we could have sold for this one. Assume Brentford and Brighton will also sell out straight away, can't imagine there are too many left for Plymouth either.

My PLymouth tickets arrived today. went down thursday to the TO and was told 2,200 sold out, another 1000 on their way, of which most would be taken up by people on the waiting list, of which i was one. Dont think many will be left at all by now. I am sure we could sell out double the allocation for this one and also Orient.

dickyhale Posted 23 March, 2011 Posted 23 March, 2011 We drove up last year and parked at the fish or flower market for a fiver. We went 2 down really early in the game and battled back for a 2-2 draw. Looking forward to this day out glad its on a Saturday

Dan Posted 24 March, 2011 Posted 24 March, 2011 Wont they just turn you away if you dont turn up with a kid?? No chance, its all the same stand the stewards wont care. Just say your kid is in the ground with his mum or something!
saints_is_the_south Posted 27 March, 2011 Posted 27 March, 2011 My fav away game of last season, or even the past few seasons actually so really looking forward to it. Went to a cracking little back street boozer called the Birkbeck Tavern last season. Decent crowd of Saints fans but no busy like the pub on the corner nearer the ground, nice little garden out the back and friendly staff too.

sperm_john Posted 27 March, 2011 Posted 27 March, 2011 going to this game, club lounge baby! cant wait, although going to have to contain myself when saints score at least 3 though!
