welcome aap3. 3 year deal - when we are in the Prem. your big brother Cisco can take over. This is a good move by NC. Well done

Although if you believe sources quoted on the Ugly we're not making a great deal out of it. About 190K£ a year. Then again I have no idea as to the validity of the source.

who cares..?

did we care how much draper or dimplex or friends provident payed up ..?

It's not a great deal compared to past sponsors apparently,I don't know, perhaps the figure isn't right anyway. FP put up quite a lot of money for naming rights and sponsorship, £3/£4 million something like that over about 4 years.

I think there's probably more to the deal than money. Maybe they will sort out the clubs computor systems or provide a club website. Maybe there's another reason that Nicola was keen for them that we'll never hear about.

Sponsorship is on its knees as a discipline right now. I was offered a deal for £400k that is now £100k to sponsor 14 major sporting events, and even now the client is only thinking about it...

I would say that £200k for a League One club with next to no coverage on terrstrial TV is a great deal at this time.

If it was 2006, it would be an insult.

If NC is indeed looking at creating the new computerised turnstiles for the inclusion of the ST installment plan then perhaps a part of the deal was to provide integration and maintenance of such a scheme ??

I myself am not too bothered, we are league 1 club and we were never going to attract big big business, anyone thinking that would have been the case would be slightly mental.
