aap3 are the New Sponsor thread...

The fact that some fans have such feelings about a ******* shirt sponser sums up the vast majority of saints fans. How can you be "underwhelmed" about a logo on a shirt. Would you be popping the champagne if we had sealed a deal with Sony or something.

Does it really matter who sponsers us?

They are a global company with over 500 staff in 30 countries.

Look at their client list...

AT&T

IBM

BAE Systems

CISCO

Deutsche Bank

HSBC

Nokia

Orange

Sony

Hardly small time, just in a industry many would be unaware of those involved.

They may well have done small bits of work for those companies, but dont kid yourself that they have anything to do with the running of the IT at DB, HSBC, Nokia, IBM or CISCO (FACT, as they say)

Are they a plc? Any idea of what their turnover was last year? To those moaning, had anyone heard of the IT company that sponsor Spurs before this season?

Autonomy? Yeah, massive company, used in at least 4 major UK Banks (from personal experience)

AAP3 the new sponsor? What a very unfortunate name for a Dutchman like me - AAP is the Dutch word for monkey!

Not as bad as when West Ham and Spuds had shirts with Pony written on them in big letters.

]Hopefully they will create a new website like the Saints foundation and Saints Online Programme [/b]ones to keep a continued theme and pull ourselves out of that crappy football league website company.

Perhaps they'll give this forum a few pointers!!

you seriously moaning that we haven't signed a big enough named sponsor?

It's a bit small time, don't you think? It's all about managing expectations, and NC does himself no favours there by keeping on bigging us up as major players on and offthe field; we as customers and supports have our expectations raised.

I don't give a monkeys who sponsors us, just pointing out that it wasn't a well know brand as people on here said.

You seriously moaning because I pointed something out?

if that was it no problem and sorry.

there is idiots moaning about most things on here so not approving of sponsor seemed like the new thing to beat the club up over.

Why would anyone wear a shirt with that thoroughly charmless IT companies name on the front when they could just wear last seasons shirt.

My thoughts exactly. Main reason I bought this season's shirt (twice - home and away) is the lack of a sponsor's name/logo.

Seriously underwhelmed - was expecting a "household name" according to all the Cortese-hype.

''We got Adkins instead of MoN ffs!!!''

''FFS!!!! Who the hell is this sponsoring us? They're not a massive brand FFS"

Happy enough with the sponsorship deal, gutted about the shirt. The only red in it is the bloody logo!!

Has anyone seen the away shirt yet?

Agree, really glad we've got a nice local company to sponsor us actually, but that new kit would look tacky in my sunday league, let alone League 1/Championship.

F-K me LOL a household name!! Err NO! The company i work for employs more than 800 people worldwide inc the US, Spain , China and Portugal, and were more of a household name than them. And nobodys heard of us! Whats the deal worth! Do they pay more for us if we get into the championship or the Prem. More to the point can they afford to!! Sort of matches our season so far!! EXPECTED MORE!! Edited by SOTONS EAST SIDE

Well yes, I wouldn't want a company that supplied say chemical weapons to a third world dictator or such like sponsoring my club. A local company seems good to me that I've never heard of them is niether here nor there. Although if we could get playboy as a sponsor I wouldn't be unhappy, I imangine they could help to make the matchday programme a lot more fun..........

Are you being serious? Because if you are you need to get out more.

Actually I'd say some of the comments in this thread matches our fanbase this season.

Seriously deluded.
