Plymouth Away New Date

Bugger, sent my two tickets back this morning as I thought it would be rescheduled to a weekday evening! Just checked with my mate down there and it's back on for a weekend on the ****. I'll have to phone the ticket office first thing tomorrow to get them to send the tickets back out to me!! Wife's not too pleased though!

Could be a Dellhurst 2 (this time for the right reasons), particularly if Plymouth somehow allocate us more tickets (can't believe they will, as there's no way they'll be safe by then)

Plymouth will get nowhere near a sell out but out allocation wont get any bigger. I can see a lot of Saints getting in the home end

absolute boll*x

just spoken to ticket office and this is not the case at all only a few tickets sold so far

Surely most of the allocation were already sold, for the original date?

This is dream cash flow stuff for Plymouth if they usually sell most home tickets in advance rather than via walk up. In effect they get a big bank holiday crowd in May with many of the tickets already paid for, weeks in advance.

What is this barbican that everyones on about?lol

It's what delldays calls his home. Basically he's inviting us all to his house where he will give us free drinks, as well as cheese & pineapple on sticks. That's how they roll in Devon.

Changed a lot since I moved away then.

Also is anyone going to trust a navy sailor saying "come round mine and eat some cheese off my stick"?

a friend of mine called up an hour ago for a few tickets, apparently they have been selling very well for the last two days, but there are still "a few hundred" left, not able to put a figure on it, but I would say anyone intending on going to this should get their's fairly soon, with Brentford and Brighton likely to sell out to season ticket holders this game is a good chance to do with tickets on open sale.

This information came from the New Ticket Office Manager who's been very reliable in the past.

The confusion could be that we initailly received an allocation of 1000 ticket which may be near to selling out, hence not many tickets left, but what the general ticket office staff are maybe not aware of is that we can get another 1500 tickets

do we have to apply by a certain date for those, or is it just a case of these seats remaining empty and being the divide between home and away fans comewhatmay?

Not certain, but I think the 2500 is the total allocation initially available of right.

I do wonder though if these tickets sell out quickly, whether we might be able to request addiotional tickets from Plymouth as I don't think 2500 will be enough

I would say its worth putting the word out to anyone you know to get them to buy tickets now just in case, the usual away section holds 2100 I think which is nothing for what could be a bank holiday promotion decider.

we had people on here complaining they could not get a Bournemouth ticket, but the fact games like Charlton (plenty left) and Plymouth ("a fair few hundred" left) both being on open sale to anyone there really is no excuse for not getting tickets for the important run in matches.

Brighton and Brentford will sell out to season ticket holders so those who can't get tickets for those might as well do Charlton and Plymouth instead (and Orient and Rochdale).

I worked there last season and the season before and I would not accept not being paid, its ridiculous that they'll pay the players before the rest of the staff, a lot of those people rely on the money they make at PAFC as part of their main income, takes the p*ss tbh I hope they all don't sign...

It's what ocean village should have been! Very picturesic on a nice day but far away from the ground! No idea where you could go near the ground though tbh, the spoons across from the ground would be rammed!

Plymouth website have an "unashamed" begging appeal for help or it will go into oblivion.

It does sound like they really are close to going to the wall, our game could be last at home park which would be emotional. Think there are 7 weeks left of the season, selling a few thousand tickets to saints will help.

The real shame is this is what should be happening to the skates.

If you just plan to arrive paralytic and pass-out it is fine, but don't be fooled by the modern exterior - this place is a sh*thole. At least you don't need to get ripped off in Revolution downstairs - just buy a bottle of vodka and listen to their music in your room!

I think they've got another home game on the Saturday after they play us.

New Zealand are now not going to play Japan so will that mean the game can return to the 26th ?

Well apart from the fact that they've already rescheduled the Saints match, New Zealand are still playing China on 25th, so no. And they won't play it on 29th when the Japan game was scheduled either, because even if Fallon is back in time they still have 2 other players out, and that's not the date on which the match is scheduled anyway.

2. The release of players under the terms of paragraph 1 of this

article is mandatory for matches on dates listed in the coordinated

3. It is not compulsory to release players for matches scheduled on

4. Players must also be released for the period of preparation before

the match, which is laid down as follows:

a) friendly matches: 48 hours;

b) qualifying matches for an international tournament: four days

extended to fi ve days if the match concerned is held in a different

e) the fi nal competition of an international tournament: 14 days

before the fi rst match in the competition.

Players shall join the association team no later than 48 hours before

kick-off.

There's also another bit saying

Players complying with a call-up from their association under the terms

of this article shall resume duty with their clubs no later than 24 hours

after the end of the match for which they were called up. This period

shall be extended to 48 hours if the match concerned took place in

a different confederation to the one in which the player’s club is

registered. Clubs shall be informed in writing of a player’s outbound

and return schedule ten days before the match. Associations shall

ensure that players are able to return to their clubs on time after the
