Golden Balls Posted 16 March, 2011 Posted 16 March, 2011 They're only doing it to try and get 3000 in the ground. Asking for trouble though
Crab Lungs Posted 16 March, 2011 Posted 16 March, 2011 Could just ask the local Poles to buy their tickets for them? :-o I suspect the Poles will see it as a business opportunity and resell the tickets on for a £5 each anyway
Pancake Posted 16 March, 2011 Posted 16 March, 2011 So you cant sell cheaper car insurance to a statistically proven lower risk group, but you can offer cheap sports tickets based on ethnicity? Odd world people, odd world.
Dog Posted 16 March, 2011 Posted 16 March, 2011 As long as they're fit, blonde and completely shaven, then can sit on my face in my seat. As long as i wear a wooden peg on my nose!
moonraker Posted 16 March, 2011 Posted 16 March, 2011 This has generated a lot of anger amongst the Bath City regulars, no surprise. However in essence it is a loss leading marketing campaign and as has been stated above they are trying to get 3000 for this game. Interestingly the club like saints have always offered good deals or combined adults and kids, is this not discriminating against those without children. Twerton Park is a good old fashioned ground to watch footy in and when they get 1500 plus in it has a great atmosphere.

And I can understand they might struggle to get in good numbers of support, especially considering that Bath is not the most "footballing" of towns. But it is discrimination. And it is as likely to lose them support as really bring in many new fans.
