Pancake Posted 15 March, 2011 Posted 15 March, 2011 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=om-IfoFd8fs Actually almost ****ed myself laughing at this. Jeeeeesus Christ, that is awful.
Pancake Posted 15 March, 2011 Author Posted 15 March, 2011 Had to go an play some NO to cleanse my ears.
Lord Duckhunter Posted 15 March, 2011 Posted 15 March, 2011 I'm going to play it to the kids to warn them about the dangers of too much weed.
Pancake Posted 15 March, 2011 Author Posted 15 March, 2011 I'm going to play it to the kids to warn them about the dangers of too much weed. And bumming. (that's a joke, BTW)
Dimond Geezer Posted 15 March, 2011 Posted 15 March, 2011 Heard this on the Radio last week, the DJ was raving about, but most of the listeners thought it was tripe. I haven't heard it since. I'm with the listeners btw.
Lets B Avenue Posted 15 March, 2011 Posted 15 March, 2011 Ruined one of my all-time top 5. Come on Barney. Sue the Muppet. P.S. Why arent the smilie-things working?
Colinjb Posted 15 March, 2011 Posted 15 March, 2011 Oh good lord. That's horrible. It's even worse then my prior favourite 'bad' cover. This: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9U77bsDnC4w&playnext=1&list=PL29AA23D8CF0ECF44 That one at least could be listened to for comedy value.... This cover though, god it's unlistenable.
Lord Duckhunter Posted 15 March, 2011 Posted 15 March, 2011 The worst cover I've ever heard is Sting's version of Bob Dylan's moving "I Shall Be Released". A truely dire upbeat version of one of Dylan's greatest. Richard Manuel who Dylan first gave it to sing, must have been turning in his grave.
fish fingers Posted 15 March, 2011 Posted 15 March, 2011 Shut it down after about 20 seconds. Horrendous.
the stain Posted 15 March, 2011 Posted 15 March, 2011 The worst one is this comedy-ska (the worst genre) cover of Stairway To Heaven
hamster Posted 16 March, 2011 Posted 16 March, 2011 Well I ropy like it he makes it his wont. That is what counts m
Pancake Posted 16 March, 2011 Author Posted 16 March, 2011 Well I ropy like it he makes it his wont. That is what counts m Spannered much Hamster?
Colinjb Posted 16 March, 2011 Posted 16 March, 2011 Well I ropy like it he makes it his wont. That is what counts m Brilliant.
Sheaf Saint Posted 16 March, 2011 Posted 16 March, 2011 It is beyond bad, I will agree. But at least it does have a tiny amount of artistic merit. The very worst cover ever is William Shatner's version of Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, closely followed in second place by his reworking of Pulp's Common People. I'm not going to link to either of them because I don't want to go through the experience of hearing a single second of them ever again.
Crab Lungs Posted 16 March, 2011 Posted 16 March, 2011 William Shatner tends to destroy quite a few songs... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QnM0zXAnR-k
Crab Lungs Posted 16 March, 2011 Posted 16 March, 2011 On the bright side, Shatner wasn't around to ruin this one...
The Majestic Channon Posted 16 March, 2011 Posted 16 March, 2011 William shatner?? t.j. hooker?? singing????? come on ffs
The Majestic Channon Posted 16 March, 2011 Posted 16 March, 2011 Well I ropy like it he makes it his wont. That is what counts m Clundge and mustard are slip, exclaimed pipey the oversized sleb.
hamster Posted 16 March, 2011 Posted 16 March, 2011 Sorry for the 'keyboard errors' last night. What I meant to say was that I like it and you lot are just being music snobs.
Huffton Posted 17 March, 2011 Posted 17 March, 2011 Worst cover ever? Scissor Sisters murdering of Comfortably Numb. They should have been publically beheaded...
Hamilton Saint Posted 20 March, 2011 Posted 20 March, 2011 Then there's William Shatner's version of Mr Tambourine Man. OMG!
revolution saint Posted 24 March, 2011 Posted 24 March, 2011 Funny how I just knew it would be this song you would be referring to and I agree - it's terrible. Then again has George Michael ever done anything decent?
Colinjb Posted 24 March, 2011 Posted 24 March, 2011 Funny how I just knew it would be this song you would be referring to and I agree - it's terrible. Then again has George Michael ever done anything decent? Can you give him credit for inspiring the video? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=41g1BUf6s_A
Rory Posted 24 March, 2011 Posted 24 March, 2011 Worst cover ever? Scissor Sisters murdering of Comfortably Numb. They should have been publically beheaded... It's a great cover! Now, go back and see if you can squeeze into your washed-out Dark Side of the Moon t-shirt.
