You muppet!

Brentford 0-1 Hudders

take full responsibility. However, from the new found way of judging games (watching text updates on internet) I could see that goal coming!

How do people follow games like this??

We are pretty much guaranteed a playoff spot, no need to panic. We will walk the playoffs, and I fancy another trip to Wembley (would prefer to go up automatically obviously)

No wembley trip unfort.

Playoffs are at Old Trafford

What the hell is wrong with league. At 5pm on Saturday Huddersfield will have played four games more than us

Nothing compared to League 2, a few weeks back Burton had about 8 or 9 games in hand on every one else around them.

Never say that! for me its automatic promo or another season in league1 the games in hand are building up and we'll be playing too many game close together soon, i have a feeling we wont do alot in the playoffs, hope im wrong but its that feeling i had when we were in the play offs a few years back.

any other season I bet we'd be challenging for top spot!

We wouldn't be anywhere near.

Top spot pretty much always goes to a team on two points per game. We've been nowhere near that, and apart from Brighton, no-one has. Last season Leeds, Norwich and Millwall were challenging for top spot. This season it's a one horse race with four clubs battling out for second, all of which have had slumps or periods of inconsistency.

League One for another season, I really do not think we will win all our games in hand.

It's not the games in hand we have to worry about in itself. It's the fact we will have to play 9 games in a month and the others only 7 or 6. That volume of games in such a short space of time will cost us points. We just have to hope others have problems rather than this continual winning.

It is all well and good saying win our games in hand etc.. the problem is you actually have to win them. When we played our recent game in hand vs Walsall it didn't quite go so easy did it?

Personally i think we will know our fate in the next 5 games. On paper we have a far harder run in then Huddersfield.

7 of our 11 remaining games are against teams in the top 12. 4 of those 7 being away games.

Of Huddersfields 9 games left they have 4 games left against teams in the top 12. Of those 3 are away. The rest against mostly relegation teams.

It is going to be really difficult and we have no more space to have a bad patch now. If we lose a game and they win we HAVE to win our games in hand just to get back on par with them. So really now each game puts pressure on us to win. Anymore **** ups and i think we can forget the top 2. And by **** ups i mean no more losing to the teams near the bottom i.e Walsall, if we want to get into the top 2 we realisticly have to win probably 7/8 of the 11 remaining games.

Don't be a div! When have we walked anything?! We're Southampton. If we were in the Zamaretto South-West Division we'd still do our best to **** it up. That will never change, and the arrogance of some fans never failed to amaze me. Play offs this season will be more of a lottery than anyother season as EVERYONE seems to be playing so well. MK Dons and Leyton Orient are 2 teams who are making worryingly good runs late in the day...

The form all of the teams are showing i can't see it being settled for a very long time yet.

This is the most annoying thing about the games in hand issue. Even if we win all our remaining games this season we will not be promoted until near the very end of the season due to playing catch-up the whole time.

On the plus side, I think we will win the play-offs, if we are in them, and I can also categorically guarantee that Huddersfield and Peterborough will not both win all their remaining games.

It's not a "lottery" at all. I have no idea why people say this. We will probably be playing teams inferior to us and will probably win.

We have 12 games left. Six at home. We should expect to win all home games. Winning 9 or 10 of our matches is not an unrealistic expectation.

Also, the Plymouth postponement could work out to be a good thing as they may well be relegated by the time the match comes round.

This season is starting to feel a lot like last season what with the games in hand the only thing different is that we're slightly higer becuase we don't have a 10 pt deduction. The problem with games in hand is they become such big must win games, the pressure kicks in and we get a result like Oldham at SMS last season and we're fuked.

It's still in our hands, which is the key. Posh and Huddersfield still to play each other as well.

I honestly think it will be between us and Peterborough. Huddersfield's latest results have not been convincing, whereas Posh are raping it atm.
