Fantastic results recently!

In the home games at least, it is because we are trying to play a passing game, that some fans are getting annoyed. The ball is constantly played to the closest man in space, which in the last three home games has meant across the back four, and then back to Kelvin.

 

We would look better if we actually carried on with this but did it half way up the pitch, rather than across our own penalty area.

 

Last season, was at times great to watch, but was also awful in parts. Trying to break down sides by hoofing the ball 60/70 yards to Rickie's head was our tactic if the opposition had ten men back. This season, we have attacked well at times, and kept possession well at times, and the only time this season I can think of a lack of passing at home, was the Brentford game when Kelvin was the starting point for nearly all our attacks in the second half.

 

Adkins has, for me, tightened the defence, tried to play more possession football, and changed things around to get results. And on that basis, I think he is doing things the right way.

... had we not had that awful spell loosing 3 on teh bounce under the temporary man... maybe picked up 6 from 9 which given those games we should have... we would be 4 points behind BHA with them still to play.... would that have satisfied the neighsayers... ??

 

I had high expectations to, and have been disspointed to some extent that we have more of a fight on our hands than 'expected but we cant deny NA has doen a great job and that it aint going to be exciting run in... some of you sound like you dont actually relish competition which is arguably waht this game is all about? Bring it on I say.

You really need to ask them directly - that way you'll get the answer from the horse's mouth.
