Outstanding result. Chuffed to Bits.

Never been fantastically impressed with Dean Hammond, but reckon he scored the most important goal of our season today.

Its between us and Peterborough, imo.

I havent been a fan of us until the last few games, he's been in awesome form recently.

Spot on. Our game in hand on them in particular is crucial. Makes Chamberlain's "hand ball" look even more F*CKING annoying.

Incredible results from the other sides - all won and we lost for the second time in a week...how can tht happen FFS??

Enjoy tonight - hope you feel like crap tomorrow LOL...

Hard luck today and best of luck for the rest of the season.

Very important win, so very, very pleased.

Bournemouth's loss midweek and our victory today could well have ended their push for second spot, which leaves a right old battle with Huddersfiled and Posh.

Interesting that Posh have so many away games (7 out of 11).

Their full away record is W6 D2 L8 (20 out of 48 - not impressive)

Recently it's been W3 D0 L2 (9 out of 15 - not bad)

So lets see, thats 2 - 0 to Saints in the Cup.

2 - 0 to Saints at St Marys in the league

3 - 1 to Saints at Dean Court in the league.

Cherry pickers, can you give it a rest now, please ?

You are becoming like Heather Mills........not a leg to stand on :-)

Great result although I always fancied our chances in this one.

Everyone maybe talking about Huddersfield and Posh but keep an eye on Orient, unbeaten in 13 games now and only 5 points behind us if they win their game in hand.

8 more wins to get auto place IMO - should be very doable now.

Fair play to you, you're far better than that other AFCB fan who posts on here.

You lot have had a great season so far and 2nd place is still very much up for grabs. Posh are a real worry for me at the moment, they're on fire!

sounds like we were really lucky as they should have had a penalty and they were the better side for most of the match.

Then again that was from Bradbury's Solent interview.

Perhaps he could have said we deserved it.

If you've been gobbing off all week and you then get a good spanking on your own patch perhaps a little humility might be in order.

And in contrast there's Nige on the radio now accepting that the first goal was correct, it's called honesty.

Oh well, onwards and upwards.

Well done all, great day.

Nah, not really. Couple of hairy moments but it sounded like the 2nd half was ours - pretty much controlled it tbh.

I thought in comparison to Howe's constant whinging he was alright? (God, I'm glad EH's f()cked off to Burnley so we don't have to listen to his bitter, inane ramblings).

Fair play to you pal. It still would be good for both teams to go up. Which, with Brighton, would mean the skates not getting at least 18 points next season.
