That must have hurt those poor poor wannabes. Sounded like 2 keeper mistakes according to DM Worried about Goberns straight red leaves us very short of cover now for a couple of matches But the table looks good, Alpine also being proved right with his worrying about Posh. But that also puts our result up there into perspective Bompey, well, if they had a bus, the wheels are wobbling now and could be about to fall off. Apart from the electric start by them in the first 10 mins we were comfortable, sounded like a bit of a stalemate in the first half really - but the 2nd half was ours, much more threat down the flanks and Lallana started to dictate the tempo of the game. Kind of how I felt it would pan out - we'd end up picking them off a bit when they started to tire. Bloody annoying with the others winning - Still! - but we can't worry too much about other results, because it's still completely and utterly in our own hands. We're so close to 2nd - I can almost touch it...let's go out and finish the job now.

We just need to win our games in hand, and a few more performances like our second-half today should see us pretty comfortably in! Also, don't usually complain but the server was pretty crap today. Should imagine there was more traffic than usual due to the nature of the game though.
