Bournemouth V Saints - First Half Thread

Sounds like we are there for the taking!!

That's funny, because it sounds like THEY are there for the taking as well. The stats are actually in our favour, in case you haven't noticed...they only sound more dangerous on the radio because everytime they get near our goal all their fans start wetting their pants.

For all their closing down and putting us under pressure, they've not created a single thing other than the goal. Patience, once again, is the key here. See off their threat and then pick holes in them as the game goes on.

Exactly right.

Possession is pretty much even and the other stats are in our favour.

Under the cosh and struggling to come to grips with game. Hammond and chaplow getting outplayed according to commentator so whats youre problem mate?

Very, very worried about Peterborough. They are unstoppable, going forward like a juggernaut compared to our Robin Reliant, always ready to topple over going round corners.

Have a look at their up-coming fixtures....they will drop some points.

Sounds an even game to me, apart from the first 5-10mins.

Bit huff-puff from both sides and little quality at the moment. I don't think anyone is getting outplayed at the moment, I think this is what you call a stalemate at the mo...needs a spark to win it, and you'd argue that we have more of those in our sides.

Possibly but I have to be honest, IMO Peterborough are definately the team to watch in our battle for second.

But that's for another day. We can't do anything about them today, so lets deal with Bournemouth first.

I hope mintys right. We do get stronger and hopefully will get more into it but not a great half by the sounds of it from us. A draw wouldnt be awful but the other two are winning so aint going to be easy cos udders havent got too bad fixtures imo. I just expect more from our world beater players. This is the game they need to show they are better than this decision.

Yes, but are we going to rue having lost a 2-goal lead against them - twice ??

That moment may well come to define our season.

"according to the commentators" Hammond has been outstanding defensively and it's Lallana and Chamberlain who are the biggest culprits for not getting involved enough.

And I haven't got any problems, i'm confident we'll go on to win this.

We have not been capable of taking corners for ages.

Except against Swindon a week or so ago.
