saintscottofthenortham Posted 12 March, 2011 Posted 12 March, 2011 Be good to know sooner rather than later as I'm getting my ticket Monday and won't be able to make it if it's rearranged for a Tuesday evening.
alpine_saint Posted 12 March, 2011 Posted 12 March, 2011 Great, another postponement. Just what we need.
thornhill_saints Posted 12 March, 2011 Posted 12 March, 2011 Are Sky Sports aware of this? Why would Sky Sports be aware of this??? is not on TV anyway. it was moved to this time because of England playing Wales in Cardiff.
trousers Posted 12 March, 2011 Posted 12 March, 2011 Why would Sky Sports be aware of this??? is not on TV anyway. it was moved to this time because of England playing Wales in Cardiff. Where did you hear that...? ;-)
Nexstar Posted 12 March, 2011 Posted 12 March, 2011 Fingers crossed it's moved. Getting there for 12.30 via train looks to be a bit of a nightmare.
thornhill_saints Posted 12 March, 2011 Posted 12 March, 2011 Where did you hear that...? ;-) http://www.pasoti.co.uk/talk/viewtopic.php?t=51202 it was also on the bbc some time ago
Dr Who? Posted 12 March, 2011 Posted 12 March, 2011 Tuesday evening and getting home will be impossible from down that neck of the woods, could have done the original game!
Windmill Arm 2 Posted 12 March, 2011 Posted 12 March, 2011 Great, another postponement. Just what we need. This could scupper our promotion hopes, you should be pleased you whingeing fanny !
InvictaSaint Posted 12 March, 2011 Posted 12 March, 2011 The end of the article states that as of now, they have only had two call ups which isn't enough for Argyle to request a postponement. It seems it will all hinge on Fallon being called up by NZ but as the game is only 14 days away, you would hope they would make a decision sooner rather than later. Given what's been happening in Christchurch NZ and of course Japan, will NZ's games go ahead, and will Fallon want to go? Not sure I'd want to be in that neck of the woods at 'the moment.

benjii Posted 12 March, 2011 Posted 12 March, 2011 Has Chris Martin signed yet? I heard MO'N was gutted not to pick him up earlier.
Golden Balls Posted 12 March, 2011 Posted 12 March, 2011 My housemate just made a good point. Can they afford to postpone it? They need all the money they can get asap.
Ewell Posted 12 March, 2011 Posted 12 March, 2011 Please no. I would be really gutted already got my weekend in the west country booked up!
Nexstar Posted 12 March, 2011 Posted 12 March, 2011 My housemate just made a good point. Can they afford to postpone it? They need all the money they can get asap. Also interesting that we have no set ticket allocation. Which I guess means we can have as many as we like!
benjii Posted 12 March, 2011 Posted 12 March, 2011 My housemate just made a good point. Can they afford to postpone it? They need all the money they can get asap. I'm pretty sure they have designated Monday as a deadline for a preferred bidder to lodge a deposit and commit to funding the rest of the season. If that happens then they may have some breathing room. TBH, I can't see it though. I wouldn't actually be too surprised if they folded.
benjii Posted 12 March, 2011 Posted 12 March, 2011 Actually, ignore that - looks as though there are people prepared to waste their money: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/p/plymouth_argyle/9422349.stm
trousers Posted 12 March, 2011 Posted 12 March, 2011 Please read Wallington Saints amusing thread of 07032010 re "Plymouth away on TV" The one I posted on many times you mean...? ;-)
SNOWY Posted 12 March, 2011 Posted 12 March, 2011 I would be suprised if it was posponed even if they hav 3 players called up. I would have thought that in their current predicament the need to get some cash in the bank would be the overiding factor in any decision, especialy as pay day arrives shortly after the match.
lambertsrightleg Posted 12 March, 2011 Posted 12 March, 2011 rubbish. Having an all dayer with a group of mates from uni that day. Maybe not now then
Deppo Posted 12 March, 2011 Posted 12 March, 2011 Who wants to meet me for a chat that day? I will meet you for sex, but you can keep your chat.
hypochondriac Posted 12 March, 2011 Posted 12 March, 2011 Who wants to meet me for a chat that day? I will.
Lord Duckhunter Posted 12 March, 2011 Posted 12 March, 2011 They've picked up a bit lately winning 3 in a row, so I wouldn't be unhappy with a PP, then playing them once their form dips again.
VectisSaint Posted 12 March, 2011 Posted 12 March, 2011 We may have international call-ups as well, don't know who is playing that week but would we want to be without Oxo, Lallana and Spiderman (if he is back from injury)?
skintsaint Posted 12 March, 2011 Posted 12 March, 2011 We may have international call-ups as well, don't know who is playing that week but would we want to be without Oxo, Lallana and Spiderman (if he is back from injury)? England call up for Lallana?
VectisSaint Posted 12 March, 2011 Posted 12 March, 2011 England call up for Lallana? Was thinking u21s, but of course he is too old now.
LGTL Posted 12 March, 2011 Posted 12 March, 2011 From a selfish perspective I hope it's off as i've a ticket for Wales England, and I quite fancy doing every game thats left this season now.
