Noodles34 Posted 11 March, 2011 Posted 11 March, 2011 I got M777 SFC (a hat trick from Matty) paid about 200 quid i think inc the DVLA fee etc better than your name i reckon, specially if you can't even afford to do your name properly!
Jeff Le Taxi Posted 11 March, 2011 Author Posted 11 March, 2011 It isn't you selling it, perhaps? No its not, SFC plate item location SUNDERLAND! i would hazard a guess that it was a SUNDERLAND fan selling it wouldnt you? wake up Sherlock! ps sorry for the sarcasm i guess Deppo set the tone.
Pancake Posted 11 March, 2011 Posted 11 March, 2011 No its not, SFC plate item location SUNDERLAND! i would hazard a guess that it was a SUNDERLAND fan selling it wouldnt you? wake up Sherlock! ps sorry for the sarcasm i guess Deppo set the tone. Why would the guy be a Sunderland just because he lives in Sunderland?
LGTL Posted 11 March, 2011 Posted 11 March, 2011 Because he is selling an SFC numberplate, so i'm assuming Sunderland Football Club...
fanimal Posted 11 March, 2011 Posted 11 March, 2011 Mine is GK 58 SFC (Initials and DOB) wifes is L60 SFC; clearly neither of us are Saints players!! Always good to see other SFC plates when driving around town and before/after matches.
Bucks Saint Posted 11 March, 2011 Posted 11 March, 2011 I have one, one of the few things the ex-wife ever game me and that I did not lose in the divorce. But its not on my car currently which is just odd. sorry
bowers-sfc Posted 11 March, 2011 Posted 11 March, 2011 I have one, one of the few things the ex-wife ever game me and that I did not lose in the divorce. But its not on my car currently which is just odd. sorry So your saying, your wife took the car but you could keep the numberplates?
Pancake Posted 11 March, 2011 Posted 11 March, 2011 Because he is selling an SFC numberplate, so i'm assuming Sunderland Football Club... Ah yes, SAFC...
ladysaint Posted 11 March, 2011 Posted 11 March, 2011 I have one J13 SFC the number plate is worth than the car though.
Saint_Ash Posted 11 March, 2011 Posted 11 March, 2011 Saw one today which was D19 SFC which I thought was pretty cool
1576 Posted 11 March, 2011 Posted 11 March, 2011 The one you really want is S41 NTS. Used to see it around (on an old MG if i remember correctly), but havwn't for a while.
Saints4Prem Posted 11 March, 2011 Posted 11 March, 2011 I have S30 SFC which I took off my Bike and have to decide whether to put it back on the replacement or on the car. I did try to sell it on here once but as I was inundated with the Capitalist Police (I dared to sell it at a profit) I gave up. I actually find Deppo quite amusing but then have yet to have him make a comment which upsets me.
Huffton Posted 11 March, 2011 Posted 11 March, 2011 The one you really want is S41 NTS. Used to see it around (on an old MG if i remember correctly), but havwn't for a while. I've seen that on a Ferrari, usually parked down at South Western House. Guess he/she has upgraded a bit from the MG!
docker-p Posted 11 March, 2011 Posted 11 March, 2011 Because he is selling an SFC numberplate, so i'm assuming Sunderland Football Club... Sunderland would be SAFC. Saints are the only SFC.
Macey_J2 Posted 11 March, 2011 Posted 11 March, 2011 (edited) SFC plates already discussed here: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?27331-SFC-number-plates Inc S41NTS Edited 11 March, 2011 by Macey_J2
Hatch Posted 11 March, 2011 Posted 11 March, 2011 I could have sold my number plate to either of the Wallace twins. Would have helped if their middle name had started with a B as well.
Bucks Saint Posted 11 March, 2011 Posted 11 March, 2011 So your saying, your wife took the car but you could keep the numberplates? Not quite. She took the house so I have to live in the car. "W5 SFC" meant all my pizza deliveries went missing so I have changed the registration to 47 Webb Close.
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 11 March, 2011 Posted 11 March, 2011 Not sure I like the inclusion of the letter 'P' in that one. If there was a number after 'SFC' it would read like a scoreline.
latter day saint Posted 11 March, 2011 Posted 11 March, 2011 i often see a Subaru with the RB55 SFC driving about. think the RB is for the late Richard Burns & the 55 is the sponsor of the old rally cars.

Newport, Isle of Wight !!! I know where your car is Pump your tyre up too, its been flat for weeks ! .
Jeff Le Taxi Posted 11 March, 2011 Author Posted 11 March, 2011 SFC plates already discussed here: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?27331-SFC-number-plates Inc S41NTS So this particular registration was mentioned in this thread? or is it once one item of interest to Saints fans has been mentioned a similar one must NEVER be mentioned again! who are you ? the forum police?
Jeff Le Taxi Posted 11 March, 2011 Author Posted 11 March, 2011 Ah yes, SAFC... Sunderland would be SAFC. Saints are the only SFC. P 3 SFC. Any football club beginning with S Eg Sunderland Football Club excellent number if you play or played for a team beginning with S and your position was No 3 Player 3 Stoke Football Club (P3SFC) quoted from the eBay listing.
Jeff Le Taxi Posted 11 March, 2011 Author Posted 11 March, 2011 I've seen that on a Ferrari, usually parked down at South Western House. Guess he/she has upgraded a bit from the MG! I think that belongs to Simon Kingsnorth, bit of a ****. (or is it im jealous of his car/success) probably the latter, sorry Simon.
Deano6 Posted 11 March, 2011 Posted 11 March, 2011 My Dad used to have F726 PTR. The PTR was quite common of cars from Portsmouth, but I used to like calling it Peter.
Window Cleaner Posted 11 March, 2011 Posted 11 March, 2011 My Dad used to have F726 PTR. The PTR was quite common of cars from Portsmouth, but I used to like calling it Peter. I thought TR,OR and CR were Southampton registrations.Old Mayor's car used to be TR 1
Jeff Le Taxi Posted 11 March, 2011 Author Posted 11 March, 2011 I thought TR,OR and CR were Southampton registrations.Old Mayor's car used to be TR 1 Still is, although now its on a Mercedes of all things!
Junction 9 Posted 11 March, 2011 Posted 11 March, 2011 Before the new style reg's, cars from Cornwall used to be either AF, RL, or CV.
norwaysaint Posted 11 March, 2011 Posted 11 March, 2011 Car registrations in Norway are two letters, usually signifying the area, followed by 5 digits, I used to have ST 64782. I'm not sure what the letters for Oslo are.
hamster Posted 12 March, 2011 Posted 12 March, 2011 I've put a bid in. Mrs h will go nuts if I win as she reckons that personalised plates all read 'WAN K5R'. She's a pity mouth sometimes but I do love her for it.
Michelle Posted 13 March, 2011 Posted 13 March, 2011 I used to have R650 SFC. T'was on my first car, Nissan Micra. Bit of a fluke, bought car in Milton Keynes, and wasn't bought for the numberplate!
Durleyfos Posted 14 March, 2011 Posted 14 March, 2011 I was recently in the new car market and saw a car I really liked, but wouldn't buy it as the last 3 letters of the plate were PFC.
dronskisaint Posted 14 March, 2011 Posted 14 March, 2011 I was recently in the new car market and saw a car I really liked, but wouldn't buy it as the last 3 letters of the plate were PFC. Similar for me except I was looking at page on Autotrader website...it just couldn't happen!
hamster Posted 14 March, 2011 Posted 14 March, 2011 Got this message from the seller after making a offer as he'd delisted it. Don't think it will sell at that price tbh: Dear Hi, the reserve is £300 and extra £105 DVLA fee. I paid £475 for it over a year ago but have got myself another plate, Not bothered if it does not sell as it will be a future investment. Regards Mick
