Netbook Keyboard Playing Up

Got my daughter a netbook for Christmas, problem is the keyboard is now playing up, every other key doesnt work, daughter assures me nothings been spilt in it and hasnt been dropped, any help much appreciated.

i can only suggest removing, check the connectors and then replace.

 

maybe check the driver in the first instance?
