Any saints players?

Think Lallana should.

This is view of Brighton fan on their forum:

I think it'd be something like...

K. Davies (Saints)

Calderon

Fonte

El-abd

Painter

Marc Pugh (AFCB)

Gary Jones (Rochdale)

Anthony Sweeney (Hartlepool)

Anthony Pilkington (Hudders)

Mackail Smith (Pboro)

Murray

Peterborough GK Joe Lewis is pretty decent, he'll probably be in it. Lallana is the best player in the division, so a certainty. The Saints players I can see in it would be Lallana, Fonte and Chamberlain.

No mention of our top goalscorer yet...?

A number of other strikers have had better seasons than Lambert.

Of course this being the internet, it isn't possible to know if you are being serious or not so I bit anyway (just in case).

I think you're team is pretty spot on, but I reckon that there will be a couple more Premiership players in there. Maybe Luis Suarez and Charlie Adam deserve a place?

Surely the keeper should go to one who has let in the least goals this season that rules out the Posh keeper I would have thought. On Solent they said we've only let in ten goals at home in the league this season thats pretty good (don't know what the away record is like) what ever KDs faults he isn't picking to many balls out of the back of the net.

Probably more to do with the respective defenses rather than GK talent, but I take your point.

yep that too. KD is a poor kicker and his time wasting can be very annoying but he doesn't let to many in which is the main thing for a keeper for me. As this is voted for by the players in league I imagine the saints team will all vote for the Wallsall keeper who they couldn't beat for love nor money.

Lee banard must be one of the top scorers in the league he might nip in but otherwise should be lallana and fonte.

But i reckon just chambo will get in because of his hype despite him being inconsistent at times.

I doubt Lallana will make it in the team, he's been good this season but not as good last season (when he still didn't make it). I suspect Pilkington and Oxo will be the two wingers in the team.

He isn't even Saints' top goalscorer, let alone the league's top scorer.

There are 14 League One players with more League goals than him, CMS has twice as many. Of course it hasn't helped that Barnard hasn't played 90 minutes that regularly, so for goals per minutes on the pitch ratio he is probably quite high.

Bartley is not in League 1. He signed for Burnley in January, not long after Mitchell said no players would be leaving Bournemouth. (He also gives away penalties etc in abundance!)

Other than CMS and BWP, I don't think I could name one other player in this league outside of our squad.

You have to be joking. We have an excellent squad for this division, but I cannot believe that you are being serious.

I'd of thought Brighton's Greer might have a chance at centre back and the lad Bennett in midfield as well.

Harley at Exeter might be in with a shout too. Green has had a good season at D&R and stands out in a poor side. Davis is another like that and was playing well at Notts County before being snapped up by Derby.

I wonder if BWP might get a look in with all those tap ins?

George Boyd has started to turn it on at Peterborough as well recently.

On Lallana, he has missed quite a lot of games and players will inevitably vote for players that have done well against them.

Craig Dawson from Rochdale must be in with a shot as well at centre half.

Very good shout indeed. Why did no one suggest we buy hi in the summer;) IF we get promoted he would be a very good candidate for a season long loan should WBA stay up and not fancy him in the Prem yet. In fact maybe they will have had second thoughts full stop and we could make them an offer.

Not a chance with Davis.

Fonte and Lallana definitely.

Fonte and Lallana should be shoe ins, AOC and Lambert in with a good shout though some good attacking players in this league.

Fonte and Lallana should be in, but that's it. AOC might have a chance, but he is inconsistent and I wouldn't pick him. Lambert, not a chance. Very inconsistent this season and a large chunk of his goals came from 12 yards out. Barnard would be my 1st choice striker at the moment.
