I dont know if this is in existence currently, but if not it should be....

When filling up petrol, it's bl00dy annoying going over the intended fill up £ amount, especially if paying by cash.

There should be an option of either filling up by volume (litres) or Currency (£).

If this isn't in place, i may suggest it and by this time next year i'll be a millionaire!!

except petrol stations wouldn't buy it because they make plenty of extra profit each year from those people that go a little over what they want to put it.

And for that reason, I'm out.

Already exists i'm afraid. Some of the supermarkets have it on their dispensers - Tesco at Horsham for example. You can choose max price £ or by max litre dispensed.

Takes an absolute age to fill the last £1 worth tho.

i knew there was a reason why i didnt become an inventor!!

I want a device added to restaurant credit card machines so that you don't inadvertently add zeroes to the tip. I had to explain recently to Carluccio's that my wife didn't actually mean to leave a tip of £17,000.

On a related subject, has anyone invented Corn Flakes yet?
