SO16_Saint Posted 9 March, 2011 Share Posted 9 March, 2011 I dont know if this is in existence currently, but if not it should be.... When filling up petrol, it's bl00dy annoying going over the intended fill up £ amount, especially if paying by cash. There should be an option of either filling up by volume (litres) or Currency (£). If this isn't in place, i may suggest it and by this time next year i'll be a millionaire!!

do i not like fizzy pop Posted 9 March, 2011 Share Posted 9 March, 2011 Already exists i'm afraid. Some of the supermarkets have it on their dispensers - Tesco at Horsham for example. You can choose max price £ or by max litre dispensed. Takes an absolute age to fill the last £1 worth tho.

tony13579 Posted 9 March, 2011 Share Posted 9 March, 2011 As a pennys worth of petrol becomes a smaller and smaller amount it gets harder to measure. Excuse me sir! You put two electrons too many in your tank!
Deppo Posted 9 March, 2011 Share Posted 9 March, 2011 You have to be a bit of a spanner to not to be able to stop on the amount you want.
Verbal Posted 9 March, 2011 Share Posted 9 March, 2011 I want a device added to restaurant credit card machines so that you don't inadvertently add zeroes to the tip. I had to explain recently to Carluccio's that my wife didn't actually mean to leave a tip of £17,000.
