Baj Posted 8 March, 2011 Posted 8 March, 2011 Any feedback please? Noticable drops in speed? Any database errors?
chrisobee Posted 8 March, 2011 Posted 8 March, 2011 It was faster tonight than it was at 3pm today !!
dune Posted 8 March, 2011 Posted 8 March, 2011 Poor in the second half. Taking a long time to refresh. It will not cope on Saturday.
CanadaSaint Posted 8 March, 2011 Posted 8 March, 2011 Same as dune for me, and I'm pretty sure the issue's not at my end.
Micky Posted 8 March, 2011 Posted 8 March, 2011 Fine here Baj - no problems at all, service was good all night - thanks.
Saintandy666 Posted 8 March, 2011 Posted 8 March, 2011 Mixed. No database errors, just like Saturday. However, it seems to oscillate between lightening fast and relatively slow!
Leslie Charteris Posted 8 March, 2011 Posted 8 March, 2011 It took a few seconds to refresh now and again, but noticeably quicker overall than in the past. Late Saturday afternoon will be the real test, I feel. I wonder if there is any difference between people connected through a BT land line and those connected by cable broadband. I'm with Virgin fibre optic and it is generally very good, even with Saints Player!
S-Clarke Posted 8 March, 2011 Posted 8 March, 2011 tbf I'd imagine the load on the sever for home matches is much lighter, so you wouldn't expect it to crash and burn as it has done during away games. It was pretty iffy at the weekend, but more bearable than before. Hope it stands up on Saturday.
trousers Posted 8 March, 2011 Posted 8 March, 2011 Any feedback please? Noticable drops in speed? Any database errors? Hi. Was fine in first half then went very slow in 2nd half. My BBC and Saints Player streams were fine so no problems with bandwidth my end. No database errors though...just the browser hanging and/or timing out. Seems a bit odd that some of us seem to be affected quite badly and others noticed no problem at all....?
benjii Posted 8 March, 2011 Posted 8 March, 2011 Better than usual. No failures to load or errors. Longest I had to wait for a page to refresh can't have been more than about 6 or 7 seconds. Cheers.
sfc1971 Posted 9 March, 2011 Posted 9 March, 2011 Bit pointless asking really we were at home. Try again on sat thanks.
Saint_clark Posted 9 March, 2011 Posted 9 March, 2011 Saturday will be a huge, huge test - biggest game of the season away from home, this place will be VERY busy.
dune Posted 9 March, 2011 Posted 9 March, 2011 Saturday will be a huge, huge test - biggest game of the season away from home, this place will be VERY busy. Improvements need to be made (if possible) before then because it won't be good enough. It was poor last night with quite a few at the game. On Saturday this place is going to a lot busier and the way it is now there is no hope.
bridge too far Posted 9 March, 2011 Posted 9 March, 2011 Hi. Exactly the same for me.
trousers Posted 9 March, 2011 Posted 9 March, 2011 Exactly the same for me. Phew. I was beginning to think it was only Tory traffic being throttled. Not that anyone on here would want to throttle the Tories.... :-))
