Secret Site Agent Posted 8 March, 2011 Share Posted 8 March, 2011 I don't know if this belongs here or the Computer games forum, but here goes, an if it don't someone will move it I'm sure. Do you ever, after an intense few days of FM11, get reality confused with Fantasy regarding Saints? Case in point. Reading the Puncheon thread, i'm thinking' Didn't he go to Stoke?' And looking at the league results i'm thinking 'Didn't Bompey beat us there?' Perhaps I play it a bit too much, (the result of working away alot and nothing to watch on TV) I suppose, and I play it whilst I listen to games on Saints player. So, what about you? Or am I suffering from a malady of the brain?
JackFrost Posted 8 March, 2011 Share Posted 8 March, 2011 I think you're playing it too much Nah I have actually got mixed up with saints on one or two occasions ie. when we've had a game coming up and I been managing them on FM I've got briefly mixed up their real league position and their position on my FM game. I know what you mean but I don't think I got mixed up to the extent you have
Lighthouse Posted 8 March, 2011 Share Posted 8 March, 2011 Are you suggesting Port Vale didn't win the 2014 Champions League?
Secret Site Agent Posted 8 March, 2011 Author Share Posted 8 March, 2011 Yes, I think the start was when I was speaking to my mate on the phone and mentioned that I heard that Rickie didn't like Danny Butterfield and that is why he was sold, but couldn't remember where I heard it, (and I blamed this site I think). Total bloody confusion. I think I'll have to find a more constructive persuit to do in the evenings. Maybe get some Airfix kits, if they still make them, or read more books. Barry the Badger Posted 8 March, 2011 Share Posted 8 March, 2011 I can't play it and listen to saints on the radio at the same time, it seriously confuses me.
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 8 March, 2011 Share Posted 8 March, 2011 Are you suggesting Port Vale didn't win the 2014 Champions League? No, but Eastleigh did in 2016 I thank you. What confuses me is that half the time I think I work in IT in London, and half the time I'm a top flight Manager.
