Good news everybody !

 

I been devouring old episodes of The Sweeney recently on freeview and I see that (praise be!) Jack Regan's 1974 'Consul GT' - otherwise known as a Mk 1 Granada - has been saved from the ravages of the dreaded tin worm and will soon emerge from its protracted rebuild.

 

I dearly wanted one of these back in the day but somehow always ended up with a succession of decidedly inferior Cortina's. Let this be a lesson to you all - buy the car you really want rather than the more modest motor than prudence might dictate - if you don't you could regret it for the rest of your life.
