Wallington Saint Posted 7 March, 2011 Posted 7 March, 2011 (edited) Does anyone know if this is on TV? Kicks off at 12.30, but I can't find any trace of it on Sky's website. Edited 8 March, 2011 by Wallington Saint
Griffo Posted 7 March, 2011 Posted 7 March, 2011 Does anyone know if this is on TV? Kicks off at 12.30, but I can't find any trace of it on Sky's website. It was moved because Wales England is on the same day at 3.
thesaint sfc Posted 7 March, 2011 Posted 7 March, 2011 It was moved because Wales England is on the same day at 3.

saint_stevo Posted 7 March, 2011 Posted 7 March, 2011 It was moved. I think it may have been because David Connolly spends a lot of time in the treatment room, but when fit is one of the best strikers at the club
LGTL Posted 7 March, 2011 Posted 7 March, 2011 Just to ruin it...This thread got me all excited thinking I could watch it in Cardiff before the England game. Never mind.
Saint Stimp Posted 7 March, 2011 Posted 7 March, 2011 It was moved for because Sky wanted to put it on TV.
Wallington Saint Posted 7 March, 2011 Author Posted 7 March, 2011 just to double check....It was moved because Wales England is on the same day at 3?

simo Posted 7 March, 2011 Posted 7 March, 2011 I've got a feeling It was moved because Wales England is on the same day at 3.
saint_bert Posted 7 March, 2011 Posted 7 March, 2011 I've got a feeling That tonights gunna be a good night?
Scudamore Posted 7 March, 2011 Posted 7 March, 2011 BBC seem to think we aren't playing them at all. Why would we play the BBC?
trousers Posted 7 March, 2011 Posted 7 March, 2011 BBC seem to think we aren't playing them at all. Indeed. I spent best part of 17 hours filling out their result predictor to the end of the season a few days ago only to discover that Saints and Plymouth play one game less than everyone else! Sort it out BBC. FFS.
stthrobber Posted 7 March, 2011 Posted 7 March, 2011 It was moved because Wales England is on the same day at 3. It was actually moved forward to 1230 because they thought Argyle might go about of business between 1230 and 3pm. I have a feeling though that Wales are playing England on the same day. I think it's a 3pm kick off
trousers Posted 7 March, 2011 Posted 7 March, 2011 Anyway, back on topic. A quick question if I may? Why has it moved?
RonManager Posted 7 March, 2011 Posted 7 March, 2011 Anyway, back on topic. A quick question if I may? Why has it moved? It hasn't, it's still at Home Park.
Minsk Posted 7 March, 2011 Posted 7 March, 2011 On Saturday's post match thread I said it was the beginning of a 5 game winning streak, which would end when we play Plymouth. Now that this match is on TV I feel even more strongly about that prediction. Or is it because England are plating Wales on the same day as we play Plymouth? Maybe they moved the time so that supporters could watch this match and then go to pub to watch the international? Anyone got any idea?

Read the thread FFS You'll see that no one has a clue why it moved. My mum's mates boyfriends hairdresser said he had a dream it's being played at the Rugby ground now though.
trousers Posted 7 March, 2011 Posted 7 March, 2011 Look, this is getting silly now. Can someone please answer the OP? FFS
Amesbury Saint Posted 7 March, 2011 Posted 7 March, 2011 Look, this is getting silly now. Can someone please answer the OP? FFS It was moved because Wales England is on the same day at 3.
RonManager Posted 7 March, 2011 Posted 7 March, 2011 It was moved because Wales England is on the same day at 3. So there's going to be a game of rugby in a mobile phone shop?
Mattio Posted 7 March, 2011 Posted 7 March, 2011 So there's going to be a game of rugby in a mobile phone shop? From what I've gathered from this thread and my sources, its been moved to the 3rd because there's live whale watching on TV the same day
Charlie Wayman Posted 7 March, 2011 Posted 7 March, 2011 Moved was it, because Wales England was on the same day at 3?
Saint-Fred Posted 7 March, 2011 Posted 7 March, 2011 Bit off topic but did anyone realise the Wales/England game is on the same day as we play Plymouth away?
Toomer Posted 7 March, 2011 Posted 7 March, 2011 They might not be around by the end of next week if they are not bought or a large amount of cash is raised.
Badger Posted 7 March, 2011 Posted 7 March, 2011 Or is it because England are plating Wales on the same day as we play Plymouth? Maybe they moved the time so that supporters could watch this match and then go to pub to watch the international? Anyone got any idea? I heard that England plating Wales was to be shown on live tv as it was considered such an unusual event.
latter day saint Posted 7 March, 2011 Posted 7 March, 2011 this is just silly! is it because of the egg chasers playing or is it due to the annual anglo/wales silver plating jamboree ?
dubai_phil Posted 7 March, 2011 Posted 7 March, 2011 Just back online, been trying to plan my trips to the pub to watch football. I don't suppose anyone knows when England are playing Wales by any chance?
RedWillie Posted 7 March, 2011 Posted 7 March, 2011 nah, it's moved to an early K.O. because Plymouth now won't be able to afford the floodlight leccy.....?
Scudamore Posted 7 March, 2011 Posted 7 March, 2011 Just back online, been trying to plan my trips to the pub to watch football. I don't suppose anyone knows when England are playing Wales by any chance? No idea. But they'll definitely be plating them at 3.
Yate Saint Posted 7 March, 2011 Posted 7 March, 2011 To answer the original question. It's not on TV. Not sure why they moved kick off though.
Matthew Le God Posted 7 March, 2011 Posted 7 March, 2011 Thread title needs a change as it is misleading.
dubai_phil Posted 7 March, 2011 Posted 7 March, 2011 No idea. But they'll definitely be plating them at 3. Fantatsic. is it before or after the clocks go forward? Cos we don't change down here & I could be an hour late getting to the pub. Actually scrub that I'll just make sure I am in the pub 2 hours early
Right sider Posted 7 March, 2011 Posted 7 March, 2011 Local derby, police worried about rival fan trouble, Their cup final or something!
