Wes Tender Posted 16 October, 2008 Posted 16 October, 2008 Really? Did he score a spectacular goal? What is the matter with the OS? Yes, he played a part in the T & T team when he came on as a substitute, but what exactly did he do to shock them? Stern a part of shock win against States, would be a reasonable headline, but have we taken on board a ex-Sun headline writer to have this sensationalism?
hypochondriac Posted 16 October, 2008 Posted 16 October, 2008 It's disgraceful. Heads should roll. It reminds me of that time the flybe link didn't work. I'm still mad about that

Wes Tender Posted 16 October, 2008 Author Posted 16 October, 2008 It's disgraceful. Heads should roll. It reminds me of that time the flybe link didn't work. I'm still mad about that I must confess that at first I misread it as Stern shocks Skates and I wondered what that was all about...
Hatch Posted 16 October, 2008 Posted 16 October, 2008 Maybe he completed a pass to a team mate, and that was the bit that shocked the States as they thought it would go straight into touch.
Weston Super Saint Posted 16 October, 2008 Posted 16 October, 2008 Maybe he learnt what the terms "Offence" and "Deeeeeefence" mean, and explained the off side rule?
trousers Posted 16 October, 2008 Posted 16 October, 2008 More importantly....what day/time is his flight home and will he be match fit for Saturday?
Weston Super Saint Posted 16 October, 2008 Posted 16 October, 2008 More importantly....what day/time is his flight home and will he be match fit for Saturday? He's having a month off to re-acclimatise. Don't worry though, we've got an 8 year old wonder kid - he's scored a hat trick against the under 9 team - ready to take his place.
belgrave Posted 16 October, 2008 Posted 16 October, 2008 He is off to Charlton shortly, so why be bothered....
Chris Larkin Posted 16 October, 2008 Posted 16 October, 2008 He is off to Charlton shortly, so why be bothered.... Source please?
Window Cleaner Posted 16 October, 2008 Posted 16 October, 2008 Loan or transfer? cheers Loan of course. We shall see if it's real or just another case of social referencing to try to shift him before the second last Thursday in November.
Windmill Arm 2 Posted 16 October, 2008 Posted 16 October, 2008 Stern shocks Skates Thats more like it, now that would be good to see.
