alpine_saint Posted 8 March, 2011 Share Posted 8 March, 2011 Don't under estimate Yeovil. Remember Walsall. Indeed, it is the height of arrogance that some come on here predicting 3-goal margins against Yeovil, just like they did for Walsall. I also find it highly amusing that some are talking about Bournemouth rolling over against Exeter almost as a certainty; I hope the team dont show that complacency against them on Saturday. Bournemouth are one of this seasons success stories and deserve more respect.
benjii Posted 8 March, 2011 Share Posted 8 March, 2011 It would be weird if lots of people were not predicting large winning margins. There are plenty of good reasons why that is a sensible prediction. It is not "arrogant".

Clearly that game went against sensible predictions. By the way, Ladbrokes have it as 6-1 that we will win 3-0. They have it as 8-1 for a Yeovil win of any kind. That doesn't mean they're right but I'm just demonstrating that it's a perfectly reasonable prediction.

Saint_clark Posted 8 March, 2011 Author Share Posted 8 March, 2011 No. I have predicted a win. But it will be tight. It wont be 3 or 4 bloody nil. How does this work then, because Hudders and Posh are well above both Walsall and Yeovil, and we beat them both 4-1. Surely this is a paradox and the world should have imploded? Scummer Posted 8 March, 2011 Share Posted 8 March, 2011 If davis gets injured it could be 3 or 4-0 to yeovil I see Forecast has been back on the bench for the last couple of games. What happened to the keeper from Arsenal who we brought in on loan? He was sub against Swindon. Do the management not like the look of him, in which case has he gone back? sandwichsaint Posted 8 March, 2011 Share Posted 8 March, 2011 Tempted to have a tenner on Yeovil at 8-1! I'm quite happy to pay a ten pound premium to see Saints win, and I don't think I could face another carp drive home after Hartlepool and Walsall; eighty quid to cover my fuel and ticket might just provide a small tad of comfort - not sure how I cover the draw though? Tense, nervous, bad-tempered evening, 2-1 Saints (just).

(not THE) Kevin Moore Posted 8 March, 2011 Share Posted 8 March, 2011 A 2 goal winning margin allowing us to sub off key players with Saturday in mind would be my ideal scenario..... so expect a close 3-2 win with us scoring in the 93rd minute to claim the three points. Let's not get too carried away with predictions, Yeovil did manage to get a draw against 'udders' at the weekend so they're clearly no mugs. St Marco Posted 8 March, 2011 Share Posted 8 March, 2011 Can't really see anything other then a win from this one. Sure you should not write off teams and underestimate them at your peril etc. But the two teams in terms of class are so far apart. We should win this one comfortably. Am going for a 3-0 win. We should close the gap on some of those above us tonight too i think. Brighton, Bournemouth and Peterborough away with tricky games. Positive thinking lads! You leave your season ticket there and pick it up after the game. I did it for the Swindon game, no problems.
Pedro Posted 8 March, 2011 Share Posted 8 March, 2011 In the Itchen stand we can amble through to the chapel or vice versa and find a couple of empty seats. My mate got into bother by walking from the Northam in front of the away supporters so I imagine you could walk round the the other way OK. Yes, you can move you season ticket for individual games. I've done it a number of times, just go to the ticket office and they will print off two new tickets when you buy your niece one. They will ask to hold onto your season ticket until after the game.
