letissisgod Posted 2 March, 2011 Posted 2 March, 2011 Just trying to get a feel for how many, if any Saints fans have tickets in with the cherries. I shall be sat in the dodgy temporary South stand. hopefully not completely on my own !!!
The9 Posted 2 March, 2011 Posted 2 March, 2011 Well if you're in the temp stand I'm sure you'll only be surrounded by plastics anyway, so it's not really a big deal unless you start giving it the large one.
Whitey Grandad Posted 2 March, 2011 Posted 2 March, 2011 Have you got your tickets yet? I'm still waiting for mine. The chap who sits next to me bought his last October and he's still waiting...
letissisgod Posted 2 March, 2011 Author Posted 2 March, 2011 Picked mine up from the ground last week.
Tomobz Posted 2 March, 2011 Posted 2 March, 2011 there's a few in there mate. i went to cherries hudders the other week and could of easily picked one up for the saints game but decide to sit with the northerners. they had quite a few left that day which sold out real quick so i am guessing a few saints have snapped them up
Junction 9 Posted 2 March, 2011 Posted 2 March, 2011 I haven't been this excited since I "took" the North bank single handed in 1986.
70's Mike Posted 2 March, 2011 Posted 2 March, 2011 I haven't been this excited since I "took" the North bank single handed in 1986. don't remember you being there that day
Toomer Posted 2 March, 2011 Posted 2 March, 2011 don't remember you being there that day I got a bollocking from the wife when she found out about 84 though.
Johnny Bognor Posted 3 March, 2011 Posted 3 March, 2011 I'm in the South stand with 9 others, sitting in pairs.
Tokyo-Saint Posted 3 March, 2011 Posted 3 March, 2011 I'm in the South stand with 9 others, sitting in pairs. Now I’m no Carol Vorderman but I have a feeling you might find this difficult!
Johnny Bognor Posted 3 March, 2011 Posted 3 March, 2011 Now I’m no Carol Vorderman but I have a feeling you might find this difficult! No you clearly are not Carol Voderman. Let me explain, in a Countdown kind of way....... Myself (being 1) + 9 = 10 10 divided by 2 = 5 So there will be 5 pairs of us sitting across the South stand. HTH ;-)
Noggin Posted 3 March, 2011 Posted 3 March, 2011 No you clearly are not Carol Voderman. Let me explain, in a Countdown kind of way....... Tokyo-Saint Posted 3 March, 2011 Posted 3 March, 2011 So just to clarify, the 9 others are not sitting in pairs?
Tokyo-Saint Posted 3 March, 2011 Posted 3 March, 2011 And there i was thinking the Japs were good at maths? I'm not Japanese
JackanorySFC Posted 3 March, 2011 Posted 3 March, 2011 there's a few in there mate. i went to cherries hudders the other week and could of easily picked one up for the saints game but decide to sit with the northerners. they had quite a few left that day which sold out real quick so i am guessing a few saints have snapped them up Are they sold out? If not I've got no problem sitting with our country cousins from Dorset.
Griffo Posted 3 March, 2011 Posted 3 March, 2011 Are they sold out? If not I've got no problem sitting with our country cousins from Dorset. They've sold out. You needed 3 ticket stubs from Bournemouth games to purchase a Saints ticket, as well as a history on their database.
JackanorySFC Posted 3 March, 2011 Posted 3 March, 2011 They've sold out. You needed 3 ticket stubs from Bournemouth games to purchase a Saints ticket, as well as a history on their database. Too true - just checked before I saw your response: http://www.afcb.co.uk/page/LatestTicketNews/0,,10324~2270822,00.html Oh well, will go down on the day without a ticket and try and get a spare then. Not a problem.

um pahars Posted 3 March, 2011 Posted 3 March, 2011 They've sold out. You needed 3 ticket stubs from Bournemouth games to purchase a Saints ticket, as well as a history on their database. Not to get in their corporate section you didn't. Granted we had book our two tables via my mates company in Ferndown, but we had no problems.
Window Cleaner Posted 3 March, 2011 Posted 3 March, 2011 Not to get in their corporate section you didn't. Granted we had book our two tables via my mates company in Ferndown, but we had no problems. Ah but when money stops talking the whole planet will be silent.
ericofarabia Posted 3 March, 2011 Posted 3 March, 2011 Not to get in their corporate section you didn't. Granted we had book our two tables via my mates company in Ferndown, but we had no problems. Good man .... make sure build up a huge bar bill and then do a runner!!! Your mate's firm in ferndown won't mind!!
letissisgod Posted 3 March, 2011 Author Posted 3 March, 2011 Anyway, next question, do we sit on our hands all game keeping our heads down, or if we score, do we let rip and then see how many of us there really are in the home stands.
scott_saints Posted 3 March, 2011 Posted 3 March, 2011 Let rip. I'd love to point and laugh at the Bournemouth fans over the top reactions.
Griffo Posted 3 March, 2011 Posted 3 March, 2011 If I manage to get a ticket in the home end I would not hesitate to celebrate. The only places I wouldn't would be in their North stand or the centre of their East stand.
Tomobz Posted 3 March, 2011 Posted 3 March, 2011 They've sold out. You needed 3 ticket stubs from Bournemouth games to purchase a Saints ticket, as well as a history on their database. they weren't adhering to that rule. i asked at the ticket office early that day if i could buy a ticket for the hudders game and a saints one at the same time and they were fine with it. like i said we decided to sit with the northerners though so didn't bother
Johnny Bognor Posted 3 March, 2011 Posted 3 March, 2011 Anyway, next question, do we sit on our hands all game keeping our heads down, or if we score, do we let rip and then see how many of us there really are in the home stands. Let rip and become an honoury member of the SSS (Southampton Suicide Squad)
Whitey Grandad Posted 3 March, 2011 Posted 3 March, 2011 What if they beat us? http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?28642-Play-off-semi-final
wokingsaints Posted 3 March, 2011 Posted 3 March, 2011 I got a bollocking from the wife when she found out about 84 though. i got one of those from my dad after that match
Johnny Bognor Posted 3 March, 2011 Posted 3 March, 2011 What if they beat us? That's what I am concerned about. When they go 4-0 up, they will be going mental and I won't be able to bring myself to even clap. I guess I could leave early.....
aintforever Posted 3 March, 2011 Posted 3 March, 2011 Looks like I'm in the home end, if you see someone getting a shoeing when we score feel free to laugh.
St. Jason Posted 5 March, 2011 Posted 5 March, 2011 Just trying to get a feel for how many, if any Saints fans have tickets in with the cherries. I shall be sat in the dodgy temporary South stand. hopefully not completely on my own !!! There's 8 of us sat there with you mate, so thats 9 super saints sat there!!!!!!!!!!!!
Badger Posted 5 March, 2011 Posted 5 March, 2011 If I manage to get a ticket in the home end I would not hesitate to celebrate. The only places I wouldn't would be in their North stand or the centre of their East stand. Why ? This is AFC Boscombe we're talking about, not Millwall. Looks like I'm in the home end, if you see someone getting a shoeing when we score feel free to laugh. First ever fan battered by a frenzied zimmer frame attack.
Whitey Grandad Posted 5 March, 2011 Posted 5 March, 2011 My tickets finally arrived this morning so I shall be sitting in the south scaffolding with all the other cuckoos. Unless it rains, that is, in which case I might stay at home.
Roger Posted 5 March, 2011 Posted 5 March, 2011 So guys can I get a ticket in the saints end if not the bmouth end? If I can let me know by pm.
Dog Posted 5 March, 2011 Posted 5 March, 2011 So guys can I get a ticket in the saints end if not the bmouth end? If I can let me know by pm. Over!
the boy from saints Posted 9 March, 2011 Posted 9 March, 2011 I'll be sat in the South stand as well - never sat in the home end for an away match. Any advice how to show no emotion when we score?
letissisgod Posted 9 March, 2011 Author Posted 9 March, 2011 I'll be sat in the South stand as well - never sat in the home end for an away match. Any advice how to show no emotion when we score? Will be a real struggle, looking forward to the game and being there, but is going to be a tough 90 mins. Think I will stick my earphones on, eliminates the risk of some muppet cherry wanting to chat.
