Adkins is a sh*te manager, many half decent managers could do well with a team of players who are by far the most talented in the division yet we have ZERO consistency. NO ONE can defend this. It is utterly pathetic how we can get sh*te results like this.

I know we had like 11 shots in target and yes the keeper decides to have a world class day but the majority of this shots sounded very weak efforts. We really need to find a way to win ugly. We don't seem to be the same team o last year. I just don't get it. Really cant afford any more o these types of performances. I didn't go today as, quite frankly, i've wasted enough money already this season on aways that have flattered to decieve. We've been awful for a while now and to win on the road at Walsall, although you don't need to be particularly good, you need bottle and desire which are two qualities that we haven't got. We'll make the play offs, but i feel sorry for anyone who was/is expecting automatic promotion. You're setting yourself up for one hell of a fall...

At the business end of the season with the pressure on they go away and grind out a 1 nil win while we grind out a 1 nil loss. I thought I might have to reappraise my pre-season prediction that we would spend a few seasons in League 1 yet - after tonight I'm beginning to feel confident again. Going to be an interesting finish now.

Funny thing is this was just like the 1st game of the season we totally dominated a team and lost to their one (pretty much) chance on goal. Different manager but nothing has really changed. Hopefully thier keeper willl be tested for performace enhancing drugs after that performance. Merrington reckoned we lacked quaility passing from midfield looks like losing Morgan had a big effect. Solent losing coverage and kindly letting us listen to the skates win really finished the night off in style. If it comes to play offs we will bottle it ................

Too many games where we fail to score, covered up by beating swindon, who must have the worst back 4 in the solar system. do we have the bottle to match a buoyant bompey, who are on a 2 year roll, and battle hardened huddersfield.......very worried tonight.

In the driving seat for second place, plenty of games in hand, playing against the worst home team in the division, 4th from bottom. You couldnt make it up. It is crystal clear that, on the strength of this result and the post-Oldham era, there are either some serious f**king attitude problems in the squad, or the manager is utterly incapable of lifting the players to the right state of mind for the games. I can 0-1 vs Ipswich at the Dell one cold dank Tuesday night, swore would never go again, but I did and I do! Stats say should have won but the one that counts did not, certainley starting to worry as with the next three games need at least seven points can see us ending up with three or less the way this seasons going
