apparently some vandals have smashed up one of their transmitting stations in Basingstoke. it is annoying to say the least not to have my Blackberry working

Thats right, nicked a load of equipment destined for estern europe! My work mobile is vodafone and its eerily quiet with it not working and slightly boring as I have caught up with all my work!

I thought it was just me this morning until I read the BBC at lunchtime

It was a break in at one of their data centres that caused damage to some of the equipment.

too true. My work mobile is on O2 and when I work from home I have to divert it to my landline before I get home as it's useless once I'm home.
