Deppo Posted 26 February, 2011 Posted 26 February, 2011 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1360788/Tormented-trolling-The-vile-web-craze-taunted-family-bullied-Natasha-suicide.html They've discovered a new internet trend that they call "trolling". This will be the new Daily Mail bugbear with which to create moral panic amongst its dimwitted readers for the next few weeks. This quote is obviously true and not made up at all: ‘Also, it’s very funny to mock the dead. I find humour in seeing other people being hurt. If I can make my friends and myself laugh at the expense of a dead person, who won’t be bothered one bit, I’m guessin’, then why not do it?’
SuperMikey Posted 26 February, 2011 Posted 26 February, 2011 That's some quality investigative journalism there - I didn't realise that there were trolls on the internet! Props to the Mail on that one, they are a beacon of hope for Broken Britain.
Saintandy666 Posted 26 February, 2011 Posted 26 February, 2011 This story is very sad and some people do just take these things way too far. However, it is extremely funny when media outlets like the Mail and Fox report on all things internet related. They just get it so wrong.
Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 27 February, 2011 Posted 27 February, 2011 Do you think they've recruited dunce to use his postings as a case study?
Fuengirola Saint Posted 27 February, 2011 Posted 27 February, 2011 Did you notice that someone has trolled the comments section, leaving a message in the name of the dead boy. The Mail really is a haven for the retarded. ( that isn't trolling i really believe that )

saintbletch Posted 28 February, 2011 Posted 28 February, 2011 I'd do her...what a waste. I guess you were aiming for irony by posting that on a thread about the trolling that followed the suicide of a 15 year old school girl. I also guess you were looking for a response - so well done. No, really. Well done. If only there were some way to pass your thoughts directly to her grieving parents. I'm sure it would bring them some comfort at what must be a difficult time.
