Lighthouse Posted 21 February, 2011 Posted 21 February, 2011 You say that, but with Plymouth going into administration it could kick them on a bit possibly? Can't see how being plunged deep into relegation troubles is going to motivate them any further. I would expect their desire to go through the floor after that. Certainly didn't do us any good. You would rather play Nguessan than chamberlain??? I would rather have AOC as an option on the bench with his pace for this one. Nguessan had a shocker against Carlisle He also had a blinder against Exeter.
Sour Mash Posted 21 February, 2011 Posted 21 February, 2011 Anyone know what the Jacksons Wharf pub is like? Use it last year?

jim_bergerac Posted 21 February, 2011 Posted 21 February, 2011 Anyone know what the Jacksons Wharf pub is like? Use it last year? Not sure, would welcome a recommendation also as I plan to get down there early.
thefunkygibbons Posted 21 February, 2011 Posted 21 February, 2011 Not sure how those results will unwind, so I guess we should just focus on our win

Lighthouse Posted 21 February, 2011 Posted 21 February, 2011 CHAMBO CHAMBO Christ I wish people wouldn't call him that. It's quite possibly the chavies nickname I've ever heard.
RonManager Posted 21 February, 2011 Posted 21 February, 2011 Christ I wish people wouldn't call him that. It's quite possibly the chavies nickname I've ever heard. Ok Lighto.
sfcjmcsfc16 Posted 22 February, 2011 Posted 22 February, 2011 any idea what time the travel bus coaches leave
Billy Lyre Posted 22 February, 2011 Posted 22 February, 2011 Anyone know what the Jacksons Wharf pub is like? Use it last year? Went last season, had no problems. Easy parking and not too far to walk.

yorkie Posted 22 February, 2011 Posted 22 February, 2011 Anyone know what the Jacksons Wharf pub is like? Use it last year? Bit like a Harvester or Beefeater...did meal deals 2 for £8 (or something like that) - actually had Ringwood Bitter on I think. Anyway - pub grub, beer and plenty of free parking close to the ground - what more could you want? Weather watch from York - rain overnight, dry and foggy now and +2C. Cannot see a problem tonight except for a cool breeze off the North Sea!
scott_saints Posted 22 February, 2011 Posted 22 February, 2011 This will be the team I reckon either Richardson or Dickson wont be in the squad to give Forte a place on the bench. Apart from this, yes.
Yorkshire Saint Posted 22 February, 2011 Posted 22 February, 2011 Like has been said, Jackson Wharf Pub sound as a pound, great parking, beer and close to ground (And if you look closely a cheep and very good italian tucked away in the corner which is my recompense for dragging my good lady to Hartlepool) Can not bloody wait for this evening lets sing our bloody hearts out..3 points tonight and id say we are ready to start motoring.

CWD Posted 22 February, 2011 Posted 22 February, 2011 No prematch interviews on the OS is weird. I guess it's coz the team stayed up north, but I like to hear ADKINO'S build up
torsaint Posted 22 February, 2011 Posted 22 February, 2011 The O joke made me laugh, first time since contracting flu last Thursday
Lighthouse Posted 22 February, 2011 Posted 22 February, 2011 Guess I should just be greatful Holmo isn't fit.

Shroppie Posted 22 February, 2011 Posted 22 February, 2011 Just arrived for the game. In The Rat Race in Platform 2 at the station. Do not miss it if arriving by train!

He also had a blinder against Exeter. Personally I thought Forte looked a lot better than N'Guessan, in his admittedly brief appearance. I didn't see N'Guessan at Exeter but he was crap at home. Besides, Forte is a player Adkins has managed before and whom he has signed permanently, as opposed to Nguesan's loan, so surely if anyone displaces AOC it will be Forte? -- or rather Jonno ;-)

Mowgli Posted 22 February, 2011 Posted 22 February, 2011 Every players has off games. And every player did have an off game against Carlisle! So I agree with you - bit harsh to single out N'Guessan
Guan 2.0 Posted 22 February, 2011 Posted 22 February, 2011 1-3. Lambert, Hammond and Fonte. (Just a feeling, not based on form or fact!) Happy days.
CWD Posted 22 February, 2011 Posted 22 February, 2011 I won £100 off a £1 bet for my flukey prediction of a 4-4 with Peteborough, along with a further £15 for Chaplow scoring first. I can feel the same thing happening today, I've gone for 5-1 saints @ 80/1 and Fonte to score first @ 22/1
Jones91 Posted 22 February, 2011 Posted 22 February, 2011 So that's what my wife means when she askes for an O
ericofarabia Posted 22 February, 2011 Posted 22 February, 2011 Have fun tonight boys and girls. Just off to bed, up in 6 hours to go to work PAH. The weather was nice and sunny today!! Very surprised that there hasn't been any mention of Monkey Hanging (or spanking on this thread - big change from last years!!) COYS.
richardc Posted 22 February, 2011 Posted 22 February, 2011 saints player looks promising for tonight - just went on to see if any latest news videos and all cocked up - you can only watch Hartlepool review from Dec
Window Cleaner Posted 22 February, 2011 Posted 22 February, 2011 saints player looks promising for tonight - just went on to see if any latest news videos and all cocked up - you can only watch Hartlepool review from Dec there aren't any videos for this evening, not a single one, probably because the team and manager are on a 5 day road trip.
Window Cleaner Posted 22 February, 2011 Posted 22 February, 2011 Pitch not in great shape apparently, puddles in the goalmouths.
Window Cleaner Posted 22 February, 2011 Posted 22 February, 2011 Expected side Davis Butterfield,Jaidi,Fonte,Harding,Hammond,Chaplow,Ox Lallana,Guly,Lambert.
trousers Posted 22 February, 2011 Posted 22 February, 2011 Expected side Davis Butterfield,Jaidi,Fonte,Harding,Hammond,Chaplow,Ox Lallana,Guly,Lambert. Expected by who?
Window Cleaner Posted 22 February, 2011 Posted 22 February, 2011 Expected by who? That's the side, subs Shea, Richardson, Schneiderlin, Barnard, Martin, Gobern, N'Guessan.
Wade Garrett Posted 22 February, 2011 Posted 22 February, 2011 Expected side Davis Butterfield,Jaidi,Fonte,Harding,Hammond,Chaplow,Ox Lallana,Guly,Lambert. I'm going for a comfortable 3-0 win. Is Morgan still injured?
Window Cleaner Posted 22 February, 2011 Posted 22 February, 2011 I'm going for a comfortable 3-0 win. Is Morgan still injured? On the bench. NA will never play him if Hammond and Chaplow are fully fit.
benjii Posted 22 February, 2011 Posted 22 February, 2011 That's the side, subs Shea, Richardson, Schneiderlin, Barnard, Martin, Gobern, N'Guessan. Where is Forte then? Hope he hasn't done himself a mischief.
Window Cleaner Posted 22 February, 2011 Posted 22 February, 2011 No Forte ? no Forte,no Seaborne. Dickson got a ball in the snout last week and may not have recovered.Might not have been on the bench anyway.
corky morris Posted 22 February, 2011 Posted 22 February, 2011 On the bench. NA will never play him if Hammond and Chaplow are fully fit. More fool Adkins then....................
Window Cleaner Posted 22 February, 2011 Posted 22 February, 2011 Where is Forte then? Hope he hasn't done himself a mischief. Forte probably wouldn't have much effect on the quagmire that the pitch seems to be.
Window Cleaner Posted 22 February, 2011 Posted 22 February, 2011 More fool Adkins then.................... Age before beauty seems to be one of his mottos.Except in the case of AOC of course.
Wade Garrett Posted 22 February, 2011 Posted 22 February, 2011 On the bench. NA will never play him if Hammond and Chaplow are fully fit. Cheers. Horses for courses I suppose. Morgan's passing game not really suited to a bog of a pitch.
Window Cleaner Posted 22 February, 2011 Posted 22 February, 2011 Cheers. Horses for courses I suppose. Morgan's passing game not really suited to a bog of a pitch. Even so if he's been out with calf trouble a bog like tonight's promises to be certainly wouldn't help.I just hope Chaplow doesn't put in any more of those rash tackles.

Agreed. We have got decent options on the bench if things aren't going our way.
DrZuess1979 the 2nd Posted 22 February, 2011 Posted 22 February, 2011 Standing water in the goalmouths... Oh god, not looking good for 3 points !!
