PS3 Controllers

The Analogue sticks on both of my controllers are playing up The rubber coating on one has split and although superglued its not right and the other one spins around where it shouldn't so makes fifa hard work (One of my many excuses).

 

Anyone else had any problems with them? I've had all 3 Playstations and these controllers seem to be poorer quality than ones in the past (deliberate money maker?)

 

Anyway if anyone knows anywhere that is selling new ones cheap (cheapest online is 35 quid!!!!!!) or are selling any I'd be very interested.

Every controller i've had since the N64 has suffered and ended up in the bin eventually. If you play a lot, and it sounds like you do, its just something you gotta live with! Saying that, my Gamecube controller was a beast and never went loose or came apart.

Never had any problems with playstation controllers. In fact just the other day I found my old ps1 controllers and they still worked fine. Sorry it that wasn't the news you wanted to hear. Having said that, I dont play a huge amount.

Probably just all the overexcitement of playing FIFA then

 

I did look on eBay but they are either fake/non Sony ones or around the 35 mark still.

 

Think I'll just end up biting the bullet and get one

Never had any problems with playstation controllers. In fact just the other day I found my old ps1 controllers and they still worked fine. Sorry it that wasn't the news you wanted to hear. Having said that, I dont play a huge amount.

 

I never had any probs with ps1/ps2 controllers either. Hence trying to find out if Sony have cut corners on quality with the ps3 controllers.

I reckon they have.

 

The triangle bitton on mine has become very stiff.

The left analogue stick on mine is broken, it acts as though I am clicking it down constantly, which means sub menus are always brought up in FIFA, which is annoying.
