stevegrant Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 Ticket prices up to £60 http://www.football-league.co.uk/footballleaguenews/20110218/play-off-final-prices-announced-_2293334_2296575
Dimond Geezer Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 Not that much different to the JPT final, to be fair.
sfc1976 Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 I'd have to be on suicide watch if we lost in the final. That would take some serious 'getting over'. Dreading it.
Sour Mash Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 I guess 30 aint too bad, but there'll be a fair percentage paying £40. How many people will really pay £50 for a League 2 game?
Thedelldays Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 50k saints fans paid not a great deal less for a far less important game..
dickyhale Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 Not that much different to the JPT final, to be fair. I thought the same if l take the misses and Rolly cat 1 tickets would cost me £150. Hopefully we wont need them (we hope)
BadgerBadger Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 I hope we don't get to the final or I'll have a dilemma due to a planned family event on that date
Saint_clark Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 Not that much different to the JPT final, to be fair. Dunno about everyone else but i'm pretty sure I paid £25 for my ticket to the JPT final.
Griffo Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 Dunno about everyone else but i'm pretty sure I paid £25 for my ticket to the JPT final. I paid 25 quid to stand behind the goal. Not bad at all.
benjii Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 150 plus 26(!!!) admin fee is cheapest ticket for Champs League final.
Toomer Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 plus travel costs to Manchester Company car Mike won't cost me a penny if we have to go up that way.
Window Cleaner Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 Company car Mike won't cost me a penny if we have to go up that way. Do you not still have to pay income tax on Company Cars and your personal usage of them?
Bucks Saint Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 agree with adriansfc. ticket prices are not the worry in the playoffs. getting beaten is. dont go there!
doddisalegend Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 Ticket prices up to £60 http://www.football-league.co.uk/footballleaguenews/20110218/play-off-final-prices-announced-_2293334_2296575 Surely when we get back to the Prem that will be normal price for a ticket they're just getting us used to it.
100%Red&White Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 F*ck no, not the play-offs. If it has to be, well we're all going to pay whatever, aren't we? Just don't run out of beer - Pride Park was not a happy place that night. Don't let me down Saints.
um pahars Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 I'd have to be on suicide watch if we lost in the final. That would take some serious 'getting over'. Dreading it. Ditto. Has to be the best way of getting promoted (although at Wembley would be better) and conversely the worst if you fail in the final.
trousers Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 Do you not still have to pay income tax on Company Cars and your personal usage of them? Won't be personal use if he coincidentally has a company meeting in the vicinity on the same day...
Thedelldays Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 saints being saints...we would fluff the playoffs
Saint Stimp Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 Worse than the price is the fact that it's at Old Trafford, which is a pain in the ass in itself.
um pahars Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 saints being saints...we would fluff the playoffs And after being 2-0 up at half time!!!!!!!!!!!!
Window Cleaner Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 Won't be personal use if he coincidentally has a company meeting in the vicinity on the same day... Depends what's marked on his W2 doesn't it.
skintsaint Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 150 plus 26(!!!) admin fee is cheapest ticket for Champs League final. Lets worry about that in about 5 years...
The9 Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 As I'll be attending a wedding on Sunday 29th May I'm bloody hoping we finish in the top 2 as well.
InvictaSaint Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 I shall be in NYC for my 40th, so Champions or runners-up please Saints!
69 saint Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 Anyone know why the final is at Old Trafford and not wembley?
Pedro Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 Wembley being used for European cup final. Got to be automatic, family holiday on the day.
dubai_phil Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 Meh. Emirates fly twice a day into Manchester & can crash at EoA's pad for the night should it be necessary. But it won't.
dickyhale Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 Company car Mike won't cost me a penny if we have to go up that way. I take it that you have never tired to park a car up near Old Trafford Stadium last time l went for the England v Greece 2001 think is was about £15 maybe this time will need a gold card
Toomer Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 Do you not still have to pay income tax on Company Cars and your personal usage of them? I only pay income tax as it is fully funded but I don't worry about that with what I earn.
Toomer Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 I take it that you have never tired to park a car up near Old Trafford Stadium last time l went for the England v Greece 2001 think is was about £15 maybe this time will need a gold card Trafford Park Industrial Estate the pallet network I work for have a depot there.
S-Clarke Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 With the expectations here, the amount of money spent and the wages paid, there is no way we'd win the playoffs. We'd meet a team who'd had a great season and has nothing to lose. If we're in the playoffs, we've had a disastrous season and it's not going to end well. In the summer, 2nd was absolute bare minimum. We've made it hard for ourselves, but that aim hasn't changed. 2nd would be great for Adkins given the position when he came in, but for the club as a whole, for whatever reason, we'll still have made hard work of it. I know it's only league 1 but I really wanted to see us win it, what better chance to win a league. Even pompey have run away with a league title recently, even if it was a little fraudulent! Credit to Brighton, but I want that title. Totally agree with you.
richie Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 The Cat 4 tickets concession is the same price as a full ticket. £40. typo???
Legod Third Coming Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 Does the team who finished 2nd have to go into the play-offs now then? Oh and all this is irrelevant as we are PLANNING to win the league.
Kingsbridge Saint Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 If we are in the Play Offs being one of four clubs going for one promotion place it will be a disaster - and I wouldn't fancy our chances of getting out of jail by winning them. With the resources at our disposal, and the talent we have, we must make the top 2. And the time to start getting there starts tonight against Rochdale. The price of the tickets are a stinger for sure, but I would pay 60 quid for second place right now.
Golden Balls Posted 19 February, 2011 Posted 19 February, 2011 If we had to go through the play offs, that would take about 10 years off my life!
SaintBobby Posted 19 February, 2011 Posted 19 February, 2011 I think we're going to come 2nd. But play-off final is a real chance. If you have a wedding, funeral or 40th birthday planned, cancel them. See you at Old Trafford for the penalty shoot out....
SaintRichmond Posted 19 February, 2011 Posted 19 February, 2011 At the start of the season, some people were forecasting Saints v Brighton or Bournemouth in the play offs Still very very possible
um pahars Posted 19 February, 2011 Posted 19 February, 2011 but I would pay 60 quid for second place right now. I would personally up your bid and pay at least £200. So an average of £100 per fan. Multiply our ave gate of 22,000. And we've raised £2.2million. Now all we have to do is get some brown envelopes and get Bournemouth, Huddersfield & Charlton paid off (or at least their keepers or key players).
