Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 17 February, 2011 Posted 17 February, 2011 After the 'Where to move to...' thread I saw a lot of fans seems to be in the Surrey area. How many of us are there, and where does everyone live? I live in Weybridge. Go...
trousers Posted 17 February, 2011 Posted 17 February, 2011 I have a Surrey post-code (Guildford) but live in 'Ampshire
Alanh Posted 17 February, 2011 Posted 17 February, 2011 One more here. Live in Guildford, commute down the M3 every couple of weeks to SMS.
trousers Posted 17 February, 2011 Posted 17 February, 2011 Has anyone else spotted a correlation between those of us located in, or near, Surrey and the top 5% of intellects on this forum?

saint_stevo Posted 17 February, 2011 Posted 17 February, 2011 Has anyone else spotted a correlation between those of us located in, or near, Surrey and the top 5% of intellects on this forum? Yes. Nobody from Surrey is in the top 5% intellects of this forum
holepuncture Posted 17 February, 2011 Posted 17 February, 2011 Has anyone else spotted a correlation between those of us located in, or near, Surrey and the top 5% of intellects on this forum? ... and that is where I wade in and blow your argument out the water in one! Surrey is cracking though. The politicians and business leaders all have to live somewhere, so they go to Surrey... I think that Surrey is the protected land in this country, beautiful land with good property, all the money is here, great transport links, no crime, good educated people, minimal amounts of immigrants (most places all white UK born and bred)... only problem is the cost of living, but then you have to pay to maintain such high standards I guess!
notnowcato Posted 17 February, 2011 Posted 17 February, 2011 Yes. Nobody from Surrey is in the top 5% intellects of this forum Agreed. Claiming to be in a Surrey postcode screams try hard and wannabe.

I presume you don't include Croydon as part of your Surrey picture...
trousers Posted 17 February, 2011 Posted 17 February, 2011 I presume you don't include Croydon as part of your Surrey picture... I believe he was referring to the 'Surrey Hills' area....which I can see in the distance out of my Hampshire window...
skintsaint Posted 17 February, 2011 Posted 17 February, 2011 I used to live in Leatherhead and that wasnt such a great area.
holepuncture Posted 17 February, 2011 Posted 17 February, 2011 Agreed. Claiming to be in a Surrey postcode screams try hard and wannabe. Any London based 'Surrey' is a sham and will not be recognised as part of the haven. The Hampshire parts are very nice, so they can have a Surrey post code (and more wealth on the back of inflated property prices - dont mention it girls)! I presume you don't include Croydon as part of your Surrey picture... Absolutely not! Im talking Surrey Hills here, none of them naughty urbanised **** holes! I believe he was referring to the 'Surrey Hills' area....which I can see in the distance out of my Hampshire window... Do you look out of your ampshere window and wonder what its like on the other side? 'ah sigh, there it is looking down on me from a distance again, gosh it looks good over there' stop dreaming about the hills and get back to aldershot you pikey!
notnowcato Posted 17 February, 2011 Posted 17 February, 2011 I believe he was referring to the 'Surrey Hills' area....which I can see in the distance out of my Hampshire window... You must be able to empathise with all the political prisoners held on Robben Island.
Clapham Saint Posted 17 February, 2011 Posted 17 February, 2011 Walton, so not far from DPS. Been here nearly a year now and although I miss the buzz and convenience of living in London/clapham sometimes I wouldn't swap back for the world.
Clapham Saint Posted 17 February, 2011 Posted 17 February, 2011 Actually, given that we're all being pretentious about it I suppose I should have said Walton-on-Thames
Goalie66 Posted 17 February, 2011 Posted 17 February, 2011 I live in Woking and Le God Third Coming and I often go to games together as he lives up the road in Walton
Griffo Posted 17 February, 2011 Posted 17 February, 2011 I live in Croydon. I'm basically on the border of Surrey and Greater London. Don't know which really. About 10 minutes from Steve Grant.
LVSaint Posted 17 February, 2011 Posted 17 February, 2011 Walton too, when I'm back... And there's a Saints fan called Pippa that lives up Rydens Road that I met at the station before the Exeter game. Walton on Thames - hotbed of Saints support. 4 and counting (plus 1 next door in Weybridge.)
RonManager Posted 17 February, 2011 Posted 17 February, 2011 Living in Cranford during the week, although that's Middlesex I think.
thefunkygibbons Posted 17 February, 2011 Posted 17 February, 2011 Just outside Farnham but actually on the Hampshire side of the border

Clapham Saint Posted 17 February, 2011 Posted 17 February, 2011 I've only been in Weybridge about 8 months, really like the area though... We moved in at the end of may. 24 hours travelling back from honeymoon in Hawaii, landed at 7am, back at the flat in clapham by 10, removal chaps showed up at 11 am. Was SO knackered!

Was SO knackered! Ouch, sounds fun for you! We very nearly moved to WoT but got gazumped on a house.
Huntingdon Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 My sister lives in Beech Close West Molesey, and she has successfully raised her 11 year old boy to support Saints. I saw him recently with the sash shirt and Lallana on the back. Her 8 year old has plumped for Chelsea though She's mentioned numerous times how many Saints fans she's met living in Surrey / South London
dellboypete Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 I used to live in Leatherhead and that wasnt such a great area. you obviously didn't live here then.............(half way down article)........ http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1239174/Britains-expensive-street-unveiled-homes-cost-average-5-4-million.html (Neither do I! but not far!) We've lived here since before the M25 was built (apart from a few spells abroad) because it's equi-distant between London-LHR & LGW, plus just an hours drive to SMS, and we live in the country. Not perfect but it'ss not bad either
holepuncture Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 I live in Croydon. I'm basically on the border of Surrey and Greater London. Don't know which really. About 10 minutes from Steve Grant. Steve Grant lives in New Malden, the epicenter of the Koren community of England. It is widely believed Steve Grant has severe yellow fever, which explains his decision to establish his manor here.
Saint Luke Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 I also live in New Malden but as far as I know I do not have yellow fever!
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 18 February, 2011 Author Posted 18 February, 2011 I also live in New Malden but as far as I know I do not have yellow fever! Get tested...

surrey1saint Posted 18 February, 2011 Posted 18 February, 2011 Just outside Farnham but actually on the Hampshire side of the border You are not far from me then.I'm on the North side on the Folly Hill Estate.

wokingsaints Posted 19 February, 2011 Posted 19 February, 2011 i'm in woking, innit and work in leatherhead, not Leys Road though!
holepuncture Posted 19 February, 2011 Posted 19 February, 2011 You really are a strange creature, aren't you? Enough of your ill informed gibberish. Off with his head.
