NorthamSteve Posted 16 February, 2011 Posted 16 February, 2011 I think anyone betting on Arsenal today would have to be mental.
JackFrost Posted 16 February, 2011 Posted 16 February, 2011 How Arsenal got away with a 2-2 draw the last time they played at the Emirates was ridiculous. If it wasn't for Almunia, Barce could have been 5 or 6 nil up within 20-30 mins
Thedelldays Posted 16 February, 2011 Posted 16 February, 2011 barca have not won away in europe this season so far
skintsaint Posted 16 February, 2011 Posted 16 February, 2011 if i had a spare 100 quid i would whack it on...
chrisobee Posted 16 February, 2011 Posted 16 February, 2011 if i had a spare 100 quid i would whack it on... Your name clearly suggests you haven't !
Verbal Posted 16 February, 2011 Posted 16 February, 2011 Arsenal will be so shocked that Tottenham won last night that they'll psych themselves up...and bottle it. (But then again my predictions are almost always wrong...)
Dog Posted 16 February, 2011 Author Posted 16 February, 2011 Well I'm going for Van Persie to score 1st & Arsenal to win 1-0 @ 66/1 Bonus: If Van Persie scores the last goal, Paddy Power will refund all losing 1st /last goalscorer, correct score & scorecast singles on the match.
JackanorySFC Posted 16 February, 2011 Posted 16 February, 2011 Arsenal in to 11/4 now on Paddy Power. Put a tenner on Arsenal to win and a fiver on Arsenal ahead at half time, barca full time (18/1). The 2 best footballing teams in the world, should be a pleasure to watch. Doesn't matter who you support, if you can't appreciate the way both Arsenal and Barca play football and their phylosophy - you ain't football.

I've just had some of that.
andysstuff Posted 16 February, 2011 Posted 16 February, 2011 Glad I put a couple of quid on them guys. Thanks for the heads up!
Gemmel Posted 16 February, 2011 Posted 16 February, 2011 Now the really smart ones would have put the bet on at half time.... apparently they went to 16/1 at half time.
thesaint sfc Posted 16 February, 2011 Posted 16 February, 2011 thanks dog - put a tenner on this! W'hey.
NorthamSteve Posted 16 February, 2011 Posted 16 February, 2011 Now the really smart ones would have put the bet on at half time.... apparently they went to 16/1 at half time. That was for Walcott to score next, I think it was about 10 ish.
saintbletch Posted 16 February, 2011 Posted 16 February, 2011 Now the really smart ones would have put the bet on at half time.... apparently they went to 16/1 at half time. I waited until Barca scored and put £5 on Arsenal at 13 (12/1) on Betfair - hoping that they'd score and the odds would swing back. Then I layed Arsenal after they scored and finally backed the draw (as my I was getting nervous in the 85th minute). I ended being in a win-win situation with £50 if Arsenal won, £10 if Barca won and £40 if they drew. Gotta love Betfair!
thesaint sfc Posted 16 February, 2011 Posted 16 February, 2011 (edited) Betfred is the way for me. Easiest website everrrr. Edited 16 February, 2011 by thesaint sfc adding r's after ever.
Rut Posted 17 February, 2011 Posted 17 February, 2011 http://www.paddypower.com/football/football-matches/champions-league-games/Arsenal-v-Barcelona-2306950.html Madness Good shout. 3/1 for Arsenal to win at home v is a big price. Tonight you wouldn't have put your life on them winning - but was there value in 3/1? Sure there was. Even if they hadn't come back to win then 3/1 was a good price. I just hope Barcelona stuff em in the 2nd leg - the 2nd half goals were painful tonight. Reminded me of just how much I hate Arsenal fans. Not quite as much as Lpool ones but not far off...
skintsaint Posted 17 February, 2011 Posted 17 February, 2011 2nd in the league at home versus a team who just had a crap result last week...and you wouldnt have put your life on them winning???.. Arsenal aren't that bad ffs....as proven last night.
