what i really love about cereals is that you have full control over portion size. what i hate is when i fill a bowl to the brim with Bitesize Honey-Nut Shredded Wheat only to find that we have only enough milk for half a bowl. As a kid we used to have water on our cornflakes because we were poor so this sitruation brings back bad memories all round.

I have only ever discovered onbe cereal that can be comfortably eaten without milk; sugar puffs.

yes.either in the cereal aisle or with the wheat free stuff in tesco.

Can Puffed Wheat be wheat-free? Must be against the Trade Descriptions Act.

When I earnt my first wage packet (aged 16) the first thing I treated myself to was a packet of those little pillow shaped cereals and a whole pint of full fat milk, I ate them all to myself and felt like a man.

First thing I bought (was 17 and worked in one of those crappy 2 for 1 restaurants) was a ticket to Saints against Plymuff. Didn't really feel like a man, unless it was a Saudi Arabian barman, because I was bored off my tits.
