League 1 games this week

results going well for us so far...

Yes they are Oldham losing, Charlton losing, Dons losing and Peterbrough drawing all the chasing pack seem to be having a bad night. Wenesday losing again I think they're out of it for this season I was worried the takeover would give them a new lease of life but it hasn't.

Sorry Peterbrough winning - bugger

Their season was over the moment they appointed Megson.

Peterborough worry me. Big goal threat and if they can sort the defence out...

I think they're a bit too inconsistent though. One week they'll win 1-0, next it'll be a 6-4 defeat or something random like that. I think they are always likely to concede sloppy goals which will pull them short of the autos IMO.

Overall that's a good night at the office without being there.

No one behind us has games in hands to overtake us and we can use our games in hand to still be in an auto promotion spot.

Bournemouth will also have to fit their postponed game in somewhere also.

Lovely stuff.

Surprised to hear the Bournemouth match was called off. It is rainy in Bristol but it's hardly been torrential today. Bit of a poor effort not to get it on and you have to feel that Rovers' best chance would be on a crappy muddy pitch.

Have to agree with all that. Peterbrough winning is the only downside, but given the choice at the start of the night, I'd have bitten your hand off for those results.

Nice that Bournemouths game was called off late enough for them to have travelled there only to not play, too.

Agreed, hopefully they get a bit of cramp and some of them have the ****s on the coach and it's a really unpleasant journey back. Mind you, Bournemouth to Bristol is a ****e journey in a coach at the best of times.

Have gone well, but we are going to have to play well away from home when we play against Brighton, Bournemouth, Charlton, Leyton Orient, and Rochdale as all playing well. Glad Ballmouth game PP tonight as looks better still only 5 points behind and they have Uddersfield on Sat at Dean Court.

Apparently they played rugger on it not long ago so it was looking like a cow field anyway.

If Posh are a threat then we are certs for promotion. We showed we are far the better than them 10 days ago. They had more fight than us in the end but we were far the better team technically. They were delighted with the draw and they were the home team.

Good results all round. Only the P'Boro result went against us. It just goes to show, though, how tough the game against Rochdale will be and how important it is to win it.

Glad the Bournemouth game was called off. I think it would have been a big psychological boost for them to win it and go level with Brighton on points. It might also have spurred on Brighton. The last thing we want is those two leaving the pack behind. Instead they may well have to play midweek in an already packed schedule. Here's hoping.

Would be good to see us open up a gap beneath us, though. The top 4 look streets ahead of the rest of the division in terms of goal difference. Maybe a point gap will open up too?

It is now statisically back in our own hands so we need to step up to the plate !

Nigel 'talks the talk' so now he must 'walk the walk' as obviously, so do the players !

With (theoretically at least!) the strongest squad in the league there can be no excuses any more !

The prize is there for the taking, now let's go and grasp it !

:)

(too many cliches, I know, but you get the point?).
