N'Gessen. Some of you lot were a disgrace today cheering when he was taken off. He didn't have the best of games but was our best player at Exter midweek. SOme of you should be ashamed of yourselves cheering a new player being substitued, that'll do his confidence the world of good you complete and utter bellends. The lack of footballing knowledge in our fan base never ceases to amaze me.

On another note, the resemablance to him and Antonio is uncanny, quick, strong but technically not that great, one because a footballing god when he left the other gets cheered when substituted. whats the difference?

Absolutely ridiculous. As you say, the guy was MOTM against Exeter. Sums up some of our fans at the moment, who aren't happy unless we win 5-0 every week. Not the best performance in the world today, but we won and that's all that matters. Notice a few people having a pop at Forte as well who so far has played about 15 minutes in total for the club. Unbelievable.

Antonio seems to be some sort of footballing god amoungst Saints fans, well since he left anyway, despite not actually being that good, yet they are on N'Gessens back already when as a player he is very similar, there you go, clear now?

yep.

and the cheering when N'Guessen was subbed was pathetic.

It was a reaction that left me cringing.

We have some complete mongs as fans, they're probably the same that shout '''WHOOOO'' whenever the oppo. bring on a sub.

It's boring now.

I'll reiterate what I've said ever since I've started supporting Saints; We have a considerable volume of complete d1ckheads as fans... and always will have, by the sounds of things.

I was at Exeter. He played pretty well then, but today he did not - couldn't trap a bag of cement. His finishing in both games was less than convincing also. Didn't hear much untoward when he was taken off but then I sit in the Itchen towards the Chapel wing. Jury is out IMHO, although it is ****** poor to cheer when he gets tugged if that is indeed what happened.

Chamberlain (and other fan favourites) has played as badly as N'Guessan did today before, yet people would never boo him. Don't understand how some fans can make a judgement over the guy so quickly. Sure isn't going to do his confidence any good.

It did, had a few mongs around me.

They summed up their footballing knowledge when they came out with these classics:

''When will we sign Guly? we obviously don't have the money anymore''

''Lallana's not the same player is he? He should have gone in the window as he wanted to''

''Lambert needs to wake up and smell the roses, he's not good enough for this team''

Thats where i sit and could hear the "fans" cheering and people getting on his back. FFS the guy was making his home debut!!

Unreal, it never ceases to amaze me. I had a bloke near me in the Itchen after 20 minutes claiming we'll be playig Torquay next season at that this rate and we are sliding down the table, i thought it might have been Alpine, but he was too slim.

I sat back in Block 42 today for the first time in a while, my god!! Hopefully we'll go up next year and I can get back in Block 1.

could be a reaction to being signed on loan when the vast majority were expecting Austin,Mackail-Smith and Messi though.

Must be difficult for these lads who are signed at the tail-end of the window when so much speculation (and bullsh*t) about "significant bids" has gone before.

Or the best one whilst we are winning 1-0 against Carlisle 'I personally think that automatic promotion is going to be out of our reach, and has been for a while.'

We really do have some f***ing retarted mongs as fans.

Lots of super fans tonight ALL clubs have players who are scapegoats, SMS is no better or worst.

It may be wrong but it happens, always has, always will at every club

Unfortunately you get loads of brainless idiots at football matches all over the place - it is the law of averages. It is just very annoying if they are in your earshot. Also, I have to say that those who use the term "mong" to insult these aforementioned brainless idiots should take a look at themselves also ;-)

Sit in Kingsland North and there was definitely a fair amount of cheering which seemed mainly to come from the Northam when the lad was subbed. It doesn't matter how sheite the game was or how poor his contribution today, that response isn't going to help anyone. I'm all up for honest opinions, but that type of jeering is just so counter productive.

He didn't play that well (then again, not many shone today), but the bloke next to us reckons he was one of the better players at Exeter.

And guess what...he's black. Told you.

Not on to cheer him ironically, although I was surprised he lasted as long as he did in todays game. Surely just going to be an 'impact player' with a fit lallana. His first touch today was appalling though.

He was crap today, but no need to cheer when he gets taken off...he's our player ffs and we should support him. However, I think he needed to come off with Chaplow at HT as it wasn't working.

It did indeed come from the Northam and I can confirm it started with the same bunch that started the Booing of Puncheon.

He was dire but there is no excuse to cheer when a player is subbed. I am in the Kingsland and it was the Northam who cheered. Our loudest support comes from the Northam but that is also where there is the largest collection of f..kwits

Bang on. Handful of mongs in Block 42 giving stick to Saints fans in 43 today. Pathetic ******s.

The same bunch were giving a woman in 43 a right earfull all day long. Started off quite funny, she made it clear she wasn't impressed or game for a laugh and they took that as a green light to rip the p*ss out of her. I am amused by it when it is somebody in the away end, but not one of your own.

The crowd was full of part-timers today due to the tie-up with the Manure game.

This showed by the amount of really uneducated blathering going on around me.

I laughed out loud today when such genius almost burst an artery as we were keeping possession in

injury time with his cry of "GET IT FORRRRRRRWARRRRRD" ,delivered with full "Hampshire twang".

Posted

I was stood in the Northam today which is a rarity for me and some of the little chants that were coming from the top were quite embarrassing. Singing about plastic fans on one hand and then singing (to the Carlisle fans) your grounds to big for you, on the other. Make your minds up guys, are you happy to see a fuller sms or not. Oh and just so you know, Carlisle's ground isn't too big for them

N'Guessan was indeed pants today, and I didn't go to Exeter, but sheesh, give the guy a chance.

Having said that Lallana was his usual self when he came on, what a relief !

Note to all "Chamberlain has been rubbish in the last month" idiots, he was very good today, playing in that wide right position he hasn't occupied since before the Man U game. Well what a shock...

Posted

I bet the fans slating N'Guessan were the same idiots that orchestrated the anti-Hoddle campaign in 2004. They are complete numbheads and have not learnt learnt their lesson. You would think that bringing the club to its knees was enough, but still they are at it !

Posted
I didn't agree with him being cheered off but he was dire! Mind you, so were plenty others in Saints shirts.

Really ? I thought we were pretty good today, a bit limited until the sending off but then once we went a goal ahead we'd quite clearly been told to keep possession and not give the ball away cheaply, and we did that perfectly, frustrating Carlisle without having to do much ourselves.

Always a bit of a risk trying to kill the game off when only one goal ahead, but overall an excellent, professional performance. I know we're not used to Saints winning and controlling possession, but credit where it's due. We even had the chance to get some comedy annoying timewasting in, and we very rarely do that kind of thing to other teams.

Yawn. I blame CB Fry - and Charles Miller.

I used to have a season ticket in the Northam, but it's really gone down hill and is now mainly populated with gobby teenagers that think the rule the roost. The last time I sat there was last season on boxing day and I distictly remember some fat kid mouthing off about plastic fans (it was an unusually large attendance) and how they weren't singing. Needless to say I made a point of not singing because there's no way i'm going to be dictated to by a jumped up teen.

I now sit in the Kingsland corner and the atmosphere is so much better. A nice mix of supporters and a distinct lack of fat gobby teenagers in jesters hats.

I handed out "No Hoddle" posters before we played at Highbury. It was after this protest that the board overuled Rupert. A good days work.

The mongs were even singing Cortese songs - embarrassing

There was a posse of teens at Posh singing Cortese songs. I think it was the same group that came dressed in red lycra gimp suits.
