Weston Super Saint Posted 12 February, 2011 Posted 12 February, 2011 Delldays has been spotted on the first day of his hunt for a new career
Deppo Posted 12 February, 2011 Posted 12 February, 2011 I was thinking about getting a job one day soon. I'm bored of sitting around spending my endlessly huge inheritance. What do you think I could do with my many talents?
sperm_john Posted 12 February, 2011 Posted 12 February, 2011 become a mercenary for hire like the A team, you could protect container ships off the gulf or something
dune Posted 12 February, 2011 Posted 12 February, 2011 Delldays found his McJob too difficult so now he's a mascot.

Gingeletiss Posted 13 February, 2011 Posted 13 February, 2011 bloody public sector workers You do realise, we contribute to this pension throughout our careers, like in any other job!
Jonnyboy Posted 13 February, 2011 Posted 13 February, 2011 You do realise, we contribute to this pension throughout our careers, like in any other job! over 12 years? sounds heavily subsidised by the tax payer
Gingeletiss Posted 13 February, 2011 Posted 13 February, 2011 over 12 years? sounds heavily subsidised by the tax payer Lol, you don't know a great deal about the forces. Mine was over 22 years, DD, if he comes out after 12 years, gets no pension yet. He gets a resettlement grant, then a pension when he's 55, if of course, the Navy is the same as the Army. It is public service, so you could say it's subsidised, I'd defy anyone on here to say that Squadies don't deserve it though!i

You knew the risks when you joined up and so did I.

You knew the risks when you joined up and so did I. You idiot, are you saying then, that they can have a career, but are not entitled to enter into a pension scheme, what an absolute stupid post. As for fat pension, what I get, for what I done is laughable. An MP gets more after a single term in office.
Deppo Posted 13 February, 2011 Posted 13 February, 2011 As for fat pension, what I get, for what I done is laughable. I salute you for admitting that you get a big fat pension for doing a laughable job. Not many people would be that honest. Why are you saying that what you did was laughable? I always felt that squaddies did a good job.

Now, I appreciate you're quite hard of thinking so I suggest you turn you're limited intellect to actualy reading what I said. I always though that Dune was up there as the dumbest f**k on here but the more I read of your stupidity the more to realise that he's no where near you in the dumb as f**k race. As an ex-member of the forces I appreciated my pension provision and used it to my advantage in my next career. That said, you're whinging about how hard done by you are is rather pathetic. Forces pensions, if you reached a decent rank after 12/22 etc, are much better that the vast majority of the populations. I always considered my forces pension as generous compared to my civi oppos and it certainly worked out that way when I transfered it into my occupational pension. Dry your eyes, take a deep breath and calm down.
Verbal Posted 13 February, 2011 Posted 13 February, 2011 He's a dancer? Yes. Or something to do with accounts. Something of that sort.

Verbal Posted 13 February, 2011 Posted 13 February, 2011 You really think you are a funny man, but you are just a sad example of what a funny man should be. Are you any relation to Busta Bloodvessel? Or is that a recommendation that DD doesn't go on the stage and do stand up?
Deppo Posted 13 February, 2011 Posted 13 February, 2011 You really think you are a funny man, but you are just a sad example of what a funny man should be. Thanks. What should a funny man be? I'll try and become a better example.

Weston Super Saint Posted 13 February, 2011 Posted 13 February, 2011 Could you give me a better example of a funny man, Gingeletiss? What tickles you? How about copying Mr Bean's style? Maybe give it a good six months before resorting back to your predictable boring current style? Should work a treat in this medium.
Deppo Posted 13 February, 2011 Posted 13 February, 2011 Thank you for the excellent advice, WSS. If anybody knows funny, it's you. I'm not really a fan of Mr. Bean, but as you like him, he must be good.
Joey-deacons-left-nut Posted 13 February, 2011 Posted 13 February, 2011 Stay out of IT. Not what it used to be 10 years ago.
Give it to Ron Posted 13 February, 2011 Posted 13 February, 2011 (edited) Stay out of IT. Not what it used to be 10 years ago. Correct, unless you want to relocate to Bangalore and Mumbai as thats where all the recruitment is now and going mad as can't get the skills there anymore. PS Get an ITIL and go into Service Management...putting right all the fck ups they keep making out their due to all the good staff leaving every 3 - 6 months and company hopping.
