saint_bert Posted 6 February, 2011 Posted 6 February, 2011 The England squad for the game against Denmark is :- Foster, Hart, Stockdale; Baines, Cahill, A Cole, Dawson, Johnson, Lescott, Terry, Walker; Barry, Downing, Gerrard, Lampard, Milner, Parker, Walcott, Wilshere, Young; Agbonlahor, Bent, Crouch, Defoe, Rooney Thoughts? For me im suprised theres no Lennon and would have liked to see Albrighton. Ho hum.
Lighthouse Posted 6 February, 2011 Posted 6 February, 2011 Agbonlahor? Has 3 goals this season. With 4 other strikers plus Young and Walcott I'd have thought another midfielder would be better. Albrighton is a good shout. I'd also give a nod to Jack Rodwell or Kieran Richardson based on this season's form.
S-Clarke Posted 6 February, 2011 Posted 6 February, 2011 I've lost complete interest in England tbh. I find that internationals now irritate me more than anything as they disrupt the club schedule. We just don't have enough technical players to make us a threat to the biggest nations.
RedAndWhite91 Posted 6 February, 2011 Posted 6 February, 2011 I'll give a toss about England when England players start giving a toss about playing for their country.
Saint Luke Posted 8 February, 2011 Posted 8 February, 2011 I'll be in Copenhagen for this, thanks to work. Not expecting much from our boys though.
Deppo Posted 8 February, 2011 Posted 8 February, 2011 I for one am glad. I think it is time that we tried Gerrard and Lampard in midfield. Its not like we have tried it before loads of times and it has never, ever worked.
sambosa75 Posted 8 February, 2011 Posted 8 February, 2011 Amazed Joey Barton isnt in there. He has been the best midfielder in the country for most of the season. I couldnt care less about his off the field antics, on the field he is class. Good shout on Albrighton too.
