Saints 4 P'Boro 4 - Post Match Reaction

Well I have had my life shortened by about 10 years by all that stress, I'm friking knackered !! To be fair to Peterborough they kept on coming and CMS is a class act.

Still feels like a loss though

Oh and for the record is it a crime to punch your wife when she says ' a draw is ok, as long as it was a good game'

I think that Mr Adkins is very brave playing KD and thereby thinking that KD will save his job.

Perhaps he needs a quiet reminder that IF Saints don't get promoted he will be gone. We all

know that a Football contract means not a lot.

IF Mr Adkins thinks that Bart isn't good enough to replace KD WHY didn't he get another keeper

in January ??

Tick Tock Mr Adkins you are relying on one man to save you. The other 10 are good enough and

play good Football but they won't be always able to make up for the last line of defence person.

Good Luck, you are going to need it.

They're a good side, we shouldn't be ''beating sides like that''. A win would have been a fantastic result and it should have been a win.

But to say we should be beating sides like that is stupid, wake up to the level we are at and the teams we are up against to get promotion. Peterborough are one of them.

We were v poor today. That's made me realise that seaborne is not up to it and neither of our leftbacks are good enough. Without morgan we have no one to pass the ball. Hammond giving away freekick at the end was just awful and seaborne giving away penalty WTF??

Heat of the moment? Gutted! Suiprised by the score... no ..considering Pbro games often leak goals.... What does it mean in the big picture..? Nothing much... still shed loads of games to play and win.. if we go on another winning streak then this game will just be one for the stats...... no need to panic... dont just look at the results but at the blossomimg of Chaplow, Chambo, Spider... and the potential of N'Guessen and Forte... nah... fed up tonigvht even thpogh we got a draw away, but thats only natural having lead twice!!! almost 20 games left.... We weren't poor.

Defensively at times we were, yes, but we weren't poor as a team and we played pretty well in attack and could have scored a couple more.

I'm deflated and gutted we didn't win that as we needed to, and should have - but you cannot say we were poor today.

At this rate we will be very lucky to stay with the teams around us....

Defenitely need a good 3 points home to Carlisle..

No point in blaming various players...

Chamberlain once again should have gone off same time as Guly....

Midfielder required in last 10 and Guess who not Fort.. at that stage..

Formation/set up of team at various times in the game...

Nigel still making far too many tactical and sub mistakes..

Step it up Saints....Come on Nigel your as bad as the forum coach..derry boy..

All that happened today is we saw how we go to pieces against fast, attacking sides with a lot of determination.

We should have tried to control the game, especially when we were 2 goals up both times.

Instead we panicked and that created a lot of mistakes for Peterborough to take advantage of.

If we'd played it around a bit more and controlled the pace it would have been Peterborough panicking.

in the cold light of day, this will be a difficult away game out of the way with no real damage done.

Lets just hope we can keep scoring.

But its all too clear that we have defensive frailties.Far too many silly freekicks conceded.

Big run of wins neede from some very winnable fixtures coming up...

You can't put Jaidi in against a team like Posh at home. Seaborne deserves to be dropped and I would rather have Martin in there. Kelvin goes from bad to good like a pmt possessed in a shoe sale.

I can't believe how easy things looked until we gave away the first goal, it just was so nicely comfortable with a 2 goal lead until we gave them something to go after. Seaborne far too many errors, same with Kelvin. Just who do you have to screw over to get dropped?

But you said bournemouth were out of sight earlier. Surely you're not just being a ***** again?

As for the leads, they didn't even feel like two goal leads in that game, it's the way Peterborough play. You knew there'd be a hatful of goals and at 4-2 I though we needed another goal.

As you say, you couldn't follow the game, so perhaps best not to describe it as poor? If you'd seen it, you'd have known a two goal lead either way in that game would be very fragile.

Whatever makes you feel better tonight. Think about the anger management suggestion though.........

In fact he needs to look in front of the back 5, when you're 4-2 up away from home you need someone to put his foot on the ball and calm things down.

Well, Morgan was missing today and I think we missed him (let alone Lallana). If we were after Mac-Smiffy it's obvious why now! Very disappointed we didn't hold on to the lead, but I'm not going to hang around here too long just for now as some of the posters depress me even more. In the context of 'boro's previous results it's not so surprising. I prefer to be positive about what a great advert that was for 3rd tier English football, but no doubt I'll be regarded as far too positive for some here...

Every week we fail to win 8-0 this board is plagued with the most miserable, pessimistic sods you could ever meet.

IF we fail to make the play-offs as a minimum, IF we fail to win through to the final, and IF we don't make promotion after the last ball of the season has been kicked, then hold a post-mortem, but there are still 19 games to play.

Chillax.

Cracking game that we should have won but poor defensive display against a good team that can score goals. Not anywhere good enough for automatic promotion so the play offs will have to do. Still a long way to go to match the consistency of Brighton who are sure to go up.

I'm not sure this was a Morgan game, I don't think he would have made a massive difference. Our midfield was pretty good I felt, but it was just a freak game. You get them I guess.

We should have known what to expect when looking at today's results!

So you think not being able to hold on to a 2 goal lead twice is not a source of concern ?

Blimey, those specs are very rose-tinted today...

don't at all -was gutted and shouting at tv for last half hour - but I certainly do not think it guarantees we will not be promoted. Please don't go back to your baiting - read the post it referred to - deliberately not commenting on yours

Before the game I'd have taken a point, but that was 2 points dropped.

Seaborne is not good enough. We need a new centre back to play with fonte.

We also need a more commanding goalkeeper. Kelvin was glued to his line and kept us under so much pressure.

Unless we go on another run of 6 wins on the trot, then I think we are fighting for second.

Can I have next week's winning Lottery numbers whilst you're here? Absolutely NOTHING you mention is certain. Calm down.

Adkins will be unhappy that we have drawn after being two up twice, IMO N'Guessan should have come on for Guly, what a C.O.C.K young Fergie is. I think most of us in truth would have taken 4 points from two away games this time last week.

Saints are abetter side & Smith showed the pace that Lambert just doesnt have.

Forte looked like Ali Dia.

At least Ali Dia come on and got a touch.

Ummm...

About 5 minutes up front debut in a game going against us, where were were not creating any sort of attacking threat.

You f*cking stupid f*cking morons. Stop making stupid f*cking moronic f*cking comments.
