That hospital pass to Fonte - well Jose went down like he'd been shot in the head - I thought he was out for the season. Plus the crazy throw out to Harding? right across his area which put us into all sorts of trouble. FFS give Bart a go.
Bridge Posted 13 February, 2011 Posted 13 February, 2011 Assessment of Davis for the Carlisle game. Not much to do ready, made a couple saves, kicking out ok. Did not dominate the box with the two or three corners Carlisle had, bad communication with Jose Fonte again and put all defenders under pressure when throwing the ball out. Cannot get the basic right.

He took at least 10 seconds to take it even after all our players were in position. It stifles any momentum that we might have built up. He was much quicker second half, maybe Adkins had a word with him at half time?

Go and watch goals on sunday and see how many keepers go for crosses and makes a pig of it and goals are let in.

The sooner he is out of the team, the better. His present form is schizophrenic and his lapses may well add up to no promotion. It must be his off field influence certainly not his onfield performances that are keeping him in the team. As a goalkeeper Collin dominated his box and communicated well with his defence, shotstopped when he had to and had no chance with the goal. Along with half the keepers in the league far better all round than Davis.

He arses about so much taking them its painful. Doesnt matter if we are 4 nil up or 4 nil down, sometimes kelvin is in his own little world with that ball at his feet.

I remember getting absolutely soaked that day - the kick must have hit the only hard spot on the pitch and it ballooned straight over Forsyth.
