One of the flagship shows on the new Sky Atlantic channel.

First episode last night, now available on Sky anytime, second episode tonight.

Martin Scorcese directed drama starring Steve Bucsemi.

Bloody brilliant first episode, looking forward to tonight.

Set in prohibition hit Atlanta/Chicago.

Looks like it is going to be a cracking serial drama that won copius awards.

Mark Wahlburg produces.

I thoroughly recommend a peek.

Mentioned this on the "what are you watching" thread a couple of months back.

Have watched all the first series. First few eps are a bit slow, but as with most HBO shows expertly introduce the vast ensemble of characters in pretty good detail. Stick with it as the second half of the series is truly gripping.

For me it is better than any first series of any other tv show, even The Soprano's. I cannot recommend this programme enough!!

it's brilliant, once the first couple of eps have developed the characters. some great scenes and suits that "nucky" sports in nearly every scene are great.

I agree. Watched them all last week. Some cracking acting performances and nice to see a lead character who is a gangster but not a traditional one (Sopranos was superb but nice not to see a copy set in the twenties.)

Ars* i wanted to watch this and the cop show but because of all the adverts saying it was exclusively in Atlantic HD i assumed (wrongly) that it was only in HD.

I will now probably (atleast try) to catch up and watch them.
